Pros: Due to the spam-free policy of Telegram, it is widely used for purposes such as trafficking and many more. It is not as popular as WhatsApp due to its marketing. Due to its feature of handling a lot of participants at once, It's widely used for its educational channels. Also, it has a huge cloud storage.

Cons: Telegram is an Indian app. It's similar to WhatsApp, but you can share large files very easily on telegram. You can make large groups and channels on telegram. It's advantageous to share class notes and other educational purposes. It can keep u updated with daily news as there's a lot of good news channels on it. You can download movies, videos and many more things on telegram.

Overall: It's a great app for educational purposes and to store data and to make large groups and channels, but also due to its two-layer and spam-free privacy, many illegal processes take place. It has better privacy as it doesn't share your number with strangers. The groups are spam-free on Telegram.

Pros: Well there are many pros of this application like:
- You can meet people who will change your perspective about life, future business partner, your new friend, etc.
- It provides a very secure chatting process.
- You can hide your profile and you can create your own group or super group.
- Telegram has more features than other messenger applications.
- Telegram can work on several devices at the same time and you can transfer files from one device to another as well.

Cons: There are a few cons of this application as well:
- Telegram is not an easy platform, subscribers can leave your channel or group as quickly as they come because of the vast platform it provides to others as well.
- Your Telegram can be flooded with messages most of the time.
- Should focus on the appearance of this platform, this is a very bad thing about this application that it does not have an attractive interface which can be a very huge problem for its popularity among people.

Overall: I have always found WhatsApp to be limiting in several ways. Telegram has solved a lot of those issues.

Cons: The value of a social network app is based on how many people use it, and Telegram doesn't have nearly as many users as some of the other alternatives.

Overall: I've been using Telegram off and on for about half a year now, more so after deactivating Facebook. It's slightly less addicting to check Telegram vs Messenger, in part because you don't get a red super obvious indicator when messages come in.

Overall: I have been using Telegram for almost 4 years now. There are a lot of channels which provide a lot of information for free. One can get a lot of information on public exams, news, articles, and a lot of guidance for many other useful things.

On the negative side Telegram holds a lot of pirated content. There is no moderation on the content that is being held on telegram. I have also seen some fraudulent activities taking place in Telegram. It would be great to see some sort of rules and regulations in place.

Overall: Telegram is one of the most complete and secure messaging app. Despite facing tough competition, it is popular as a messaging app for any confidential communication.

Cons: Telegram doesn't support video calling feature which is its drawback.

Pros: I am using telegram from the last 2 years, It compensates for the shortcomings of WhatsApp. We can add a large number of people in a group which is not possible in other applications. The UI is very simple and easy to understand. The voice calling works perfectly with good voice quality, It works even if the Internet connection is not that strong.

Cons: The security is not that strong with the bots in the market our data can be easily be manipulated. The application does not have a video calling option that needs to be added.

Overall: The application is best if you want to be a part of large group where people share useful material and messages with each other. For short and quick conversations WhatsApp is still the best option.

Cons: Telegram is growing community and evolving at super pace, the spam and other illicit content is increasing too, moderation is good but still feel it needs a better management in terms of keeping the platform clean.

Overall: We have been using telegram since a long time, initially used this as an alternate to google drive mobile to quick send file but have later evolved its usage as a personal assistant for all needs.

A file uploader, a notes taker, a doodler and what not, Telegram is evolving at a rapid phase with many of its new and interesting features.

Pros: It is far better than WhatsApp and other messaging apps. It contains all useful features required for specific purposes.

Cons: As I am a user I found no cons in this software or its application.
