Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros It's still valid for occasional use if you have patience and use quite a few messaging apps. It's still an app that lets you have several messaging tools at once from the same interface, and if you're patient and not in a hurry, I suppose it's relatively usable. The free version gave me the ability to have 3 messaging apps in one place, to see notifications for each, the ability to switch quickly between apps and sync with my phone and other devices. There was a 10 second wait before messages opened if you hadn't been on the app for a while. This was annoying, but not worth paying $4 a month to remove. Cons With the latest version, it practically forces you to buy the paid version, since it imposes wait times to open the application. I might buy the paid version if this one weren't so resource-intensive and slowing down the entire operating system, but I'm not going to pay for a clearly degraded application full of bloatware. What I liked about Franz was its speed; even before the latest version, it was getting worse and worse, but now it's literally unbearable. It's much better to use the applications separately. Sometimes the messaging apps would glitch and you would have to disconnect and then reconnect the service. Worse, they've increased the penalties for using the free version. I wasn't prepared to subscribe, because all the additional features in the professional version were unnecessary to me. Now they've made the free app unusable, a cynical downgrade. Now, free users have to wait 15 seconds to revisit Franz every single time they navigate away for more than a minute. The messenger apps don't automatically open when the wait is up. You have to click to continue. In practice this adds 20 seconds every time I go to check a notification, which is wasting around half an hour a day. I won't be using Franz any more. As soon as I have a moment to find an alternative, I'll delete it gladly.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Security. Telegram is far more secure than any other messaging app out there. Design. Most important features are free. - It is a feature-packed messaging application for both pc and smartphones. - Telegram allows the user to create groups with up to 200,000 members. - Bots can be deployed by the group admin to automate tasks within groups. - It has a global search to search anything across the telegram platform. - It is a security-oriented messaging application that allows its users to stay anonymous in groups or from other users on the platform. Due to the spam-free policy of Telegram, it is widely used for purposes such as trafficking and many more. It is not as popular as WhatsApp due to its marketing. Due to its feature of handling a lot of participants at once, It's widely used for its educational channels. Also, it has a huge cloud storage. Well there are many pros of this application like: - You can meet people who will change your perspective about life, future business partner, your new friend, etc. - It provides a very secure chatting process. - You can hide your profile and you can create your own group or super group. - Telegram has more features than other messenger applications. - Telegram can work on several devices at the same time and you can transfer files from one device to another as well. - No Ads and completely free. - End to end encrypted. - Ordinary and secret chats. - Simple and easy interface to use. Cons Not really popular yet. Many people still use WhatsApp only (mistake). - It is a bit overwhelming to use initially because of the number of features available. Telegram is an Indian app. It's similar to WhatsApp, but you can share large files very easily on telegram. You can make large groups and channels on telegram. It's advantageous to share class notes and other educational purposes. It can keep u updated with daily news as there's a lot of good news channels on it. You can download movies, videos and many more things on telegram. There are a few cons of this application as well: - Telegram is not an easy platform, subscribers can leave your channel or group as quickly as they come because of the vast platform it provides to others as well. - Your Telegram can be flooded with messages most of the time. - Should focus on the appearance of this platform, this is a very bad thing about this application that it does not have an attractive interface which can be a very huge problem for its popularity among people. - No multiple selections. - Can’t easily figure out the opposite person is online or offline. - Pirated contents can be easily shared.
