"Great for schools" Posted 2021-09-10
Pros: As a designer, I love how Squarespace allows you to design pages that are beautiful and functional quickly. Regardless of your design background, the interface is self-explanatory and very intuitive. I appreciate that what you see on the back end of your website is what you get.
Cons: After a number of years, we moved away from this for our primary school website, as we wanted something we could build out into a dynamic app as well.
I wish there was a way to make modifications to pages without them being immediately live.Overall: I appreciate being able to purchase our domain through Squarespace and the overall loveliness of the design. As the person overseeing the website and marketing at our school, I also like that I can give other staff certain "permissions" to make limited changes depending on their role. Other staff (even those with no web experience) have picked it up quickly and with ease.
