    "Go to App"

    Posted 2026-01-09

    Pros: Easy to start

You don’t need to be a tech genius.
Setting up your store is pretty straightforward — Shopify walks you through the basics.

    All-in-one

Hosting, checkout, payments, themes, apps — it’s all under one roof.
You don’t have to piece together a bunch of separate tools if you don’t want to.

    Lots of apps

Need reviews, fancy layouts, email marketing, AI helpers, upsells, subscriptions?
There’s probably an app for it. You just install and go.

    Decent support
24/7 chat and email support is a lifesaver, especially when something weird happens at 2 AM.

    Professional themes
Even the free ones look legit — clean, modern, and mobile-friendly.

    Cons: Can get pricey

The monthly plan + apps + transaction fees add up fast.
A “simple” store can suddenly feel expensive once you add features.

    App dependency

A lot of features Shopify doesn’t do out of the box.
So you end up needing apps — and many of them cost extra.

    Learning curve

Still easier than some platforms, but there’s stuff to learn — tax settings, shipping rules, SEO, etc.

    Checkout isn’t super customizable

Unless you’re on the top-tier plan or using Shopify Plus, you can’t tweak the checkout too much.

some times store tend to get messy and themes import issues

Overall: Shopify is easy to use, reliable, and powerful, but costs add up once you start adding apps. will recommend it

"A reliable platform to launch and scale online stores"

    Posted 2026-01-03

Pros: Very intuitive interface, fast setup, and a rich app marketplace that covers almost every e-commerce need. Stable and secure for daily operations.

Cons: Monthly costs increase as you add apps, and deep customizations can be limited without technical skills.

Overall: Shopify is a trustworthy and efficient solution for anyone who wants to sell online quickly, with enough flexibility to support business growth.

"Impressed with Shopify and Shipturtle for Smooth Online Shopping"

    Posted 2023-04-14

Pros: Shopify is known for being a user-friendly platform that is easy to navigate, with a range of customizable features (including of Shipturtle specifically) and templates.

Cons: Shopify is primarily designed for physical products, so users looking to sell digital products or services may need to look elsewhere.

Overall: I had a great experience using Shopify and Shipturtle for my recent purchase. The product arrived quickly and was well-packaged. I will definitely use both again.

"Online sales can be promoted through this platform."

    Posted 2023-04-05

Pros: Shopify is easy to use and intuitive, with a drag-and-drop interface and customizable templates and themes. It is reliable and secure, using enterprise-grade encryption and technology to protect merchant data and ensure the smooth running of their online stores.

Support for multiple sales channels, including web, mobile, social, marketplaces, physical locations, and pop-up stores, is possible, allowing merchants to reach more customers and increase sales.

It provides 24/7 customer service via phone, email, chat, and social media, as well as a community forum and help center with guides and tutorials. Also, flexible pricing plans that suit different budgets and needs.

It has a great store of apps that can extend the functionality of an online store, such as adding new features, improving SEO, optimizing conversions, or automating tasks.

It supports over 100 payment options, including credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, and more. It also has its own payment gateway, Shopify Payments, which eliminates transaction fees and integrates with other Shopify features.

Cons: Shopify charges transaction fees on every sale made through its platform, unless the merchant uses Shopify Payments. This can be a disadvantage for companies with tight profit margins or high sales volume.

It has limited customization options for its templates and themes, which may not be suitable for some merchants who want more control over the appearance of their online store. Some features may also require coding skills or the use of third-party applications.

The learning curve is steep for some traders who may find the platform's features and functionality overwhelming or confusing. It can take some time and effort to set up and run an online store effectively.

You have additional costs for some advanced features that are not included in their monthly plans, such as abandoned cart recovery or multi-currency support. Merchants may also be required to pay for third-party applications or services to improve the performance or functionality of their online store.

It is a hosted platform, which means that merchants do not fully own or control their online store. This may result in potential limitations on customization or integration with other systems or platforms. It may also raise data ownership or security concerns.

Overall: It provides everything you need to launch and grow your online store with ease and efficiency. It has a powerful backend editor and an impressive inventory system that make it ideal for managing and scaling larger stores. It also allows you to sell across multiple channels and platforms to expand your reach and revenue. However, Shopify is not perfect. It has some drawbacks that can affect the profitability or performance of your business. You may have to pay additional fees or costs for some features or services that are not included in your plan. You may also face some restrictions or challenges when customizing or integrating your online store with other systems or platforms. Overall, Shopify is a great ecommerce platform that can help you grow your business without a lot of technical issues. It has many benefits that outweigh its drawbacks. However, you should also consider your business needs and goals before choosing Shopify as your ecommerce platform. You need to weigh the pros and cons carefully and compare it with other ecommerce platforms to find the one that best suits your needs.

"Your online store always on Shopify"

    Posted 2022-12-23

Pros: The navigation interface when navigating through the shopping is very intuitive and easy to understand, improving the experience of customers who use it. The implementation and configuration is quite simple to do and in a few moments everything is already perfectly structured. Managing customer orders is much simpler from Shopify, plus it has helped increase the flow of sales in our company.

Cons: It is missing that there is no possibility to unlock or access new promotions through subscriptions to generate better reach among active users. The inventory tool sometimes does not work the way we expect, forcing us to use third-party tools because inventory management is one of the most important tasks in our company. Prices should be a little more structured according to usage and usability.

Overall: Shopify is a relevant and very well structured alternative for us who were looking for an online store manager, Shopify provides a structured online store where we can easily upload all our products and services in a quick and orderly manner, represented by secure and reliable payment solutions facilitating access to our customers and providing ease when viewing the campaigns we offer.

    "Powerful platform plus capital benefit"

    Posted 2022-01-28

Pros: Very easy to use and setup. They have a lot of integrations to allow you to expand your website, more than other vendors. They also have Shopify capital which can provide you funding based on volume.

Cons: Some of their themes and templates aren't as flexible in terms of design changes. Although they offer a financing option, the terms can be expensive, though the process is easy and fast.

Overall: A fantastic platform to build your e-commerce website on. The Shopify capital platform, though expensive, is also easy to use. They have many 3rd party integrations to expand your site.

"Cost effective price for a secure online store."

    Posted 2021-12-01

Pros: Easy to build templates, but also able to customize via HTML, CSS and Liquid.
The built-in payment gateway is used by many and trusted by many. Easy to install apps and get your store exactly as you can imagine it. Support is also very helpful and there are many online resources to fit your needs.

Cons: Credit card transaction fees are added on top of the monthly cost.

Overall: I have used Shopify for 6 years now and will not be using any other platform builder. I have complete trust in Shopify and will continue to grow with them.

    "Best platform for e-commerce"

    Posted 2021-10-10

Pros: Very quick to setup and customize. They also have a lot of third party apps that can be used to customize your website. I used one of their new 2.0 themes so seems faster than it was for other themes.

Cons: I've used their platform for a few sites. Sometimes the themes can be slow or apps that add javascript etc to your site can sometimes lower your speed score. That's not ideal for e-commerce sites, so I'd hope they'd improve that.

Overall: Overall the best place to launch an e-commerce site. Lots of integrations, easy setup, and also access to future financing based on your sales volume.

    Posted 2021-09-30

Pros: Hands down the best e-commerce platform out there. Lots of integrations and a robust app ecosystem if you want to expand or add features. Also their merchant advice product has been helpful for us as we've grown.

Cons: We have a lot of products, they enforce a hard limit on the amount of products you can upload after 50,000, then you can only upload 1,000 a day unless you upgrade to a much more expensive tier of service.

Overall: Very good, definitely a fantastic platform. Hard to have any reason to use another platform especially with the financing they provide based on your business metrics.

    "Simple Ecommerce Solution"

    Posted 2021-08-31

Pros: Whether you are building a complete ecommerce site for your band for years to come or building a pop up store for an event or employee program this software is very easy to setup and get up and running fast but also has many features and add-ons for complex sites and situations.

Cons: More B2B options would be a great addition to the platform. Private site logins and group permissions and things of that nature without needing multiple addons to configure.

Overall: Great Product! Fast setup, reliable with great support. Works great for many of our client sites we build with the integrations needed for our Warehouse partners to fulfill orders in a timely fashion.

    "Brilliant!"

    Posted 2021-08-28

Pros: Everything is in one place - you have a dashboard with your sales, inventory...
Lots of great add-on apps (some free, some paid).
Lots of options to integrate other online stores.
I like the options you have - whether it is with your design, your payment method, ability to create discounts, etc.
Easy to update pages, add new stock and keep everything fresh.

Cons: It can get quite expensive very quickly if you're not careful.

Overall: I moved my website to Shopify about 18 months prior and sales have gone through the roof!

The designs are great and easy to use and implement. You can add-on many things such as invoices, payment methods... you name it, there is an app.

My shop is just so much easier to run now as everything works together and I would say that the time I spend manging the store has reduced significantly.

I think Shopify makes you look professional, fresh and reputable. The only thing to be aware of is that the cost can build up quickly so be wary of that if you're on a budget.

But I do highly recommend Shopify for eCommerce!

Pros: A very convenient and hassle free way to set up online business.
Customizable website according to need is a great feature.
Great integration with other applications as well.

Cons: Making changes or migrating is very difficult plus the transaction costs are a little disappointing.

Overall: Shopify is great to begin with and establish a stable online business with no or less knowledge of backend.
Provides almost everything needed for opening an online store such as inventory management, shipping ,support and marketing.

"Shopify as a top choice for online store designs"

    Posted 2021-03-27

Pros: This platform allows us to create online stores through a very simple software that allows us to adapt to their functions. It has preset design templates tool for those who do not know how to design a website. In addition, you can create sales channels in the shortest time. Customizing an online store quickly and without much effort is provided by Shopify, with an extensive line of visually pleasing templates that add an aesthetic touch to our stores. In addition, it provides us with various payment options and remarkable facilities to manage your channels for publishing products or services.

Cons: The program does not have rating options and product reviews, which does not allow any user to position themselves on its platform due to lack of rating. Similarly, it lacks promotion management, which limits important basic processes such as dissemination through social networks.

Overall: In general terms, Shopify is a program that offers formidable elements for a good creation of our virtual stores. Mainly in terms of design since they are graphic professionals who created the default templates. However, the software prevents us from positioning ourselves in the market with its promotional limitations.

"You can be an expert in online stores without complete knowledge with Shopify"

    Posted 2021-03-22

Pros: This application allows you to easily manage the design, creation and editing of your online store through the different templates and help wizards that it offers. You also have a section of blogs to migrate your publications to them in a practical way to increase your clientele.

Cons: Although you can extend the reach of your store to a blog that gives you the same platform, it has the difficulty of exclusivity only on the same platform, since you can not promote your products on other sites or social networks. Not to mention that their premium packages are quite expensive.

Overall: Although it gives us the facility to entrepreneurs who do not know much about programming to afford our own domain to sell our products, with an eye-catching interface Shopify opens the way to that opportunity. But they are very zealous about exclusivity which to some extent slows down the process of entrepreneurship.

    "My Go-To E-Commerce Solution"

    Posted 2020-10-23

Pros: Shopify takes the complicated world of e-commerce and turns it into something that anyone can manage. I am designer that really does not like to manage client sites after building them. Shopify is a platform that I can train almost anyone to no matter what age or technical inclination.

Cons: There are some features that seem like they should be out of the box that aren’t and require stringing together many apps that each cost a monthly subscription. Some of the main ones I see are not being able to customize internal search, hide products from search, and set shipping rates by zip code.

Overall: Shopify is a great e-commerce solution and really gives the business owner a platform that is easy to manage. As a designer, the app world is frustrating and I wish more came out of the box, but it is still the best solution I’ve found.
