"A bug infested mix of two generations of software" Posted 2023-02-20
Pros: I can only imagine the price. The Software is cheap compared to its competitors. And cheap is the right word.
Cons: Multiple functions, especially in the form-editing, are known to be buggy. Even in the online courses (nearly 3k€ for a course you don't even get a proper documentation for) the trainer explains how to deal with the recurring crashes. Even add-ons like the itsm-framework, which also cost >5k€, are buggy in a way, that some forms won't open without script-errors.
Overall: This software has two major flaws: A lack of testing and a lack of commitment. Over multiple "new" versions some parts of the software are still old, that means a older layout or even old tools, which you have to use, because some parts you can't access with the new tool or the new tools are so buggy, that it is best to use the old ones. This whole thing feels like an Access 2.0 with Angular sprinkled erratically over it.

The help-files are a joke, they are incomplete or just mind-numbing wrong (the vertical with and the horizontal height in their explanation of DLUs, which is the measurement-unit in forms ffs.
