Pros: The ability to customize the workspace is unrivaled by competitors without additional coding, integrations, and headache. We get exactly what we want without having to jump through hoops.

Cons: We have had some moments where a doc or task disappears, and that can be frustrating. Each time, ClickUp Support was able to recover it for us within the business day.

Overall: ClickUp actually does what everyone else claims to do. The platform is not just storage for tasks and project details - it's a fluid, flowing system that allows us to get more work done. My team is empowered, and my clients are impressed. Our annual revenues are reflective of the investment in productivity.

Pros: 1. Free plan for early stage startups
2. Easy to use and set up
3. Multiple views to help organize information & tasks with teams (Gantt, Kanban, Mind Map, Table, Timeline, etc.)
4. Time tracking (competitors often don't offer this)
5. Document creation w/in work space/folder for easy coordination with team (no need to refer to cloud drives or emails)
6. Multiple project status labels to express stage of progress (Open, IP, Closed, Completed, etc)
7. Due Date, Assignment, & Priority Status Settings (competitors often don't offer all)
8. Subtask creation - can create subtasks under main tasks to further divide the work and keep overview of project scope clear & uncluttered
9. Workload view - can see how much work is being assigned to each person on the team
10. Mobile app offering - can use their app to do almost everything you can on a desktop, really impressive how well done and well synced the mobile version is

Cons: 1. It's too good to be true?

Overall: After comparing with similar platform types, we decided on ClickUp and we still have no regrets! ClickUp has the most sophisticated and yet easy to use set of functions and views that help with team coordination and task organization that we were able to find in the market at the time that we were assessing project management tools & software.

We have been using it for half a year and are still going strong!! In fact, we love ClickUp so much we've shared it with other startups and founders at Y Combinator. When we scale up, we are sure to scale together with ClickUp because they helped us out at this early stage of starting out.

Pros: I really like the flexibility ClickUp offers. I can customize just about anything, from custom fields to automations, from mindmaps to white boards, which means I can do just about anything in ClickUp that I need to do for my business, for sales & marketing, for personal reminders, etc.

Cons: The down side of the customization and the sheer volume of tools available on the platform is that it is easy to get lost in all of the bling! Also, it is not the fastest platform out there by any stretch. This is probably their greatest hindrance.

Overall: ClickUp is a great platform to do project management with, task management, salesflow management, HR management, financial management, goal setting, and more. It is powerful enough to allow you to do just about anything you can imagine there. If you are giving it a try for the first time, my only encouragement is to approach it with a "Less is More" mindset and only activate what you need so as to make sure you keep your focus clear as you use it.

Pros: Brilliant for business and working as a team. Highly recommend for organisation and structure in a business.

Cons: Just wanting small tweaks to the software every now and then

Pros: It's literally the combination of all the project management tools out there all rolled into one powerful software. I absolutely love how granular we can get with all details of a task, and just how many ways we can collaborate with team members!

Cons: Because it's such a robust platform, it can also get overwhelming really fast. They also are constantly updating and upgrading the software, which is good and bad. I never feel like I fully get to utilize the full power of the software.

Overall: Overall, I live and swear by ClickUp!!! I can do nearly anything I want to in my business with this tool and I highly recommend it to everyone!

Pros: Love the way that you can design and create your space in a way that works with your brain- there are different view options, lots of reporting tools, dashboard tools, unlimited lists and sprints you can create, etc. Also love the flexibility when it comes to choosing colors, statuses, and tags. Our company was able to create an automated campaign task creation that allows repetitive tasks to be auto assigned and set up, which has saved us a lot of time.

Cons: Three things that I wished worked better: 1) the chat feature, 2) trying to navigate through multiple lists & 3) finding tasks you’re connected with. I would love to be able to chat with other users and create spaces to chat about different projects. The built in chat feature doesn’t allow a lot of flexibility…it takes up a lot of space to not show many of the messages and you can’t really reply to a previous message higher up. 2) I often need to go back and forth between different lists as I remember different tasks I need to check on, get details from, create, etc. I wish there was a way to do that without completely navigating away from what you’re on and having to find it again. Maybe finding a way to open up a different list without closing the one you’re one. 3) I have spent a lot of time in Click Up and know where to look for things but a lot of our team hasn’t. They often miss tasks that they’re connected with. I wish there was a built in view where you can find all the tasks you’re working on, assigned to, a watcher on, etc. Notifications has it but it isn’t one that’s visually helpful in planning out and keeping tabs on your tasks. Dashboard allows you to create something similar but you have to be creative to design it in a way that’s helpful for each user and not everyone on the team is willing to play around with it. On a side note, it would also be helpful in dashboards if there was a way to filter comments assigned to me rather than just assigned comments

Overall: ClickUp does an amazing job providing you different ways to keep track of your different tasks. I love the way that there are different views depending on the type of list that you’re creating and the flexible status options available to allow you to keep track of projects in a way that makes sense to you. Our company uses it not only to help individuals stay on track, but also to manage the 10+ different campaigns we have running simultaneously. It’s also helpful that Click Up allows us to invite guests into our workspace when we’re collaborating with external groups. The dashboard feature is an amazing way to create reports and synthesize what’s happening with different tasks. I definitely recommend using Click Up to any organization or individual hoping to get their goals organized and push projects forward.

Pros: The functionality of task creation and assignment capabilities. It really helps organization within our company. Setting deadlines, ability to message co-workers, list "powers", ongoing task creations and the different settings available, spaces, etc.

Cons: I've been using this for nearly 5 months with my company now, and haven't really found anything to dislike.

Overall: ClickUp has saved our company time and resources, proving a valuable resource in organizational structure, time management and task assignment.

Pros: ClickUp keeps all our team members on the same page and working together to complete tasks. We link emails, files from DropBox, and Google Drive links to our ClickUp tasks, making them easy to find and all in one place for all team members. Using ClickUp has saved us hundreds of hours searching for various pieces of projects or trying to remember what the most recent status is.

Cons: At times, the site is a bit slow, but I assume it's just because so many others are using it.

Overall: Our entire office has been extremely pleased with ClickUp. It has quickly become the most important tool we use to complete our projects.

Pros: Easy to use, plenty of areas for fast accurate reviews of ongoing projects.
I would recommend to all friends in business.

Cons: Would like to see more snap shot spreadsheets to bring into meetings.

Overall: This product has increased my work flow in many ways.
There has always been a slow down due to multiple projects that were un- organized.

Pros: I'm not a super tech savy person but I've found ClickUp to be easy to use. I was even able to take a template and modify it to fit my business needs all on my own.

Cons: The amount of things that ClickUp can do seemed very overwhelming to me at first. It was my first time using this type of software.

Overall: A ton of functionality and I only use a fraction of it. Overall offering is great! The customization ability to fit my needs is my favorite part.

Cons: The learning curve can be a little daunting for people with little to no project management software experience.

Overall: ClickUp is perfect for larger teams. Each of our company's departments has their own "space" and projects with tasks, but ClickUp's ability to copy, share or move tasks to other spaces and departments help us all stay informed and aligned. Comments, Google drive integration and templates keep repetitive work and up-to-the-moment updates easy and streamlined so everyone is right on track.

Pros: This product has changed how I manage my day for the better. It keeps everything organized and allows me to track my progress. The best thing is that there are so many ways to customize this tool so it operates exactly how you need it to.

Cons: I don't have any complaints about this product. It is very easy to use.

Overall: I have been using ClickUp for over a year now and it has been a great addition to my tool box. Once you get everything going it will become something that you use every day.

Pros: Super intuitive almost all the time, and when it's not - the support is AMAZING and prompt! It's our go-to.

Cons: N/A. I can't really speak to any cons, although i haven't used other solutions.

Overall: Great experience, use it every camp season! As i mentioned, the game-changer is the amazing friendly support.

Pros: Very thoughtful design! Compared to other platforms I've tried, all my needs are met with ClickUp. The hierarchy is well-thought out, and you can easily get an overview of everything going on, zoom into one project, or sort based on a variety of factors. I love that you can easily control privacy levels of different items. There are a variety of views as well, so no matter how you want to see your work laid out, there is a view will meet your needs.

Cons: I wish the notes field on each task was more robust. Copy-pasting from other Windows programs into the notes field does not work very well - the formatting gets really wonky.

Overall: Absolutely the best product of its type I've tried, and I did a trial of ten or so of these types of platforms! Highly recommended.

Pros: ClickUp is a highly adaptable efficiency tool. Our company has three teams with three very different workflows. ClickUp is adaptable for each team to maximize efficiency in workflow. My favorite use of ClickUp is the time tracking. I find that I'm more efficient with my time and I'm able to calibrate my projects based on the time I've tracked.

Cons: When ClickUp goes down, it brings all of our work to a screeching halt. There is also a lot of data in our ClickUp system, which means certain functions are slow to load.

Overall: I've been using ClickUp for less than a year, but it has changed the way I think about my work. The onboarding in my new job included acquainting myself with ClickUp. In the first 90 days of my job, the organization within ClickUp helped me understand the infrastructure of my new work place, my workflow, and my time efficiency. My work efficiency and clarity continues to grow as I continue to use ClickUp.

Pros: Easy assignment methods, amazing email notifications, wide array of templates and views, and the details feature allows you to link your results with your task for quick recall!

Cons: I feel like I don't know how to get the most out of the software, but that doesn't mean that it's not helpful in the capacity I have chosen to use it in.

Overall: This is the best tool I have used to manage my team! It is easy to assign individual and pairing tasks and it has served as an incredible repository for the artifacts we create. My whole team enjoys using it because of the friendly UI and we have just scratched the surface on its capability

Pros: I love the many features. The pricing also seems fair. My favorite feature is the recurring task option.

Cons: The app can be a little slow at times. It is also not the most user-friendly experience as there is a bit of a learning curve. The mobile version definitely needs a UI redo.

Overall: This is my daily tool and I use it with the many clients I have. I have recommended it to others, but the mobile app is really not good.

Pros: I like how I can add all task for each project and see how my week or day would look like .great product and would recommend it.

Cons: I have no cons because it has all the features I need.

Pros: I’m a single business owner, and need a way to track my work. Yes, this isn’t the usual use case of ClickUp, but I have to say, it has made my life so much easier! Having the ability to track work tickets, with automations helping streamline my workflow has been so beneficial.

Slash commands in tickets make things so easy. Ads ons mean the possibilities of what you can track and automate are limitless. Reporting is also amazing.

Cons: Nothing, happily a paying customer. The product team are always releasing new useful features.

Overall: ClickUp has changed my workflow, it has streamlined my task tracking, saved me time with automations, and given be the ability to have deep insight into how my work progresses. A truly amazing productivity hack!

Pros: I like the many ways you can view tasks and dependencies. ClickUp is the only tool I’ve found that puts visual organization in the hands of the user. I also love the new documentation feature. For years I struggled to find the “perfect” project management tool because documentation was not a built-in feature, and I’m so happy that ClickUp added this for users!

Cons: It’s not very clear what the functional difference is between dashboards and spaces. It seems that ClickUp provides many levels of organization, but I don’t end up using many of them as the purpose and function is not obvious for some.

Overall: ClickUp is so easy to use with very little learning curve. It is functionally rich but not overwhelmingly so. I tried many project management tools over the past decade and ClickUp is the one I’ve stuck with as it provides the features I enjoy most (control over visualization of tasks and documentation capabilities) without needing to spend a lot of mental energy figuring out how to use the tool. I’ve used it primarily to manage my individual projects, but I think it provides the functionality needed for teams, too.
