    Pros: When dealing with such a large web system it's incredibly helpful to have CloudWatch doing a lot of the hard work for you and providing the valuable data and actionable items needed.

    Cons: I have found that the support help for this management service is slow to process questions and doesn't have many experts on the team to provide answers to the questions that arise.

    Overall: Overall, Amazon CloudWatch really allows for a unified view of all the cloud resources and applications I need data on.

    Pros: Easily manages logs period.
    Easy to install and set up.
    Time and money saving.
    Great dashboard customization options to add metrics.

    Cons: It works only on Amazon affiliated service otherwise is a good tool to have and better than third party software.

    Overall: As per name it watch web services specially AWS. It manages log and relation period in very effective and simple way. It makes your monitoring your host performance very easy. This tool is time and money saving.

    Alarms based on custom triggers.
    Easy integration with AWS Services like SNS or Lambda.
    Schedule events.
    Cost-effective - only pay for what you use.

    Cons: Needs to mature into a standalone app which can be integrated with other clouds platforms or tools.

    Overall: Amazon CloudWatch is the one of the best monitoring, log aggregation and metrics tracking tool out there and the fact that it is integrates seamlessly with the Amazon Cloud ecosystem makes it highly recommended for any AWS user.
