Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros The pros are: outstanding customer service, super easy-to-use system, and nearly 100% uptime. Plus, they offer Zoom calls to help us whenever we need it! The customer support at Talkroute is unmatched. They were extremely helpful in the inquiry phase (I had a million questions) and were helpful in moving all 4 of our phone lines in addition to purchasing another 4 phone lines. The phone numbers are in our new area code and we were able to keep our old numbers, well as our Toll Free number. Even after we chose to go with Talkroute, they continued to be attentive whenever we had any questions. Also, we are a non-profit so they offered a discount (after verification) and let us know common features other non-profits use. Talkroute is great for working remotely and allowing calls to be routed to different phones, such as to employees who are working from home. The service also has a convenient feature that accurately transcribes voicemail messages to my email inbox. The phone number selection system was easy to use. Cons Minor bugs every few weeks but bugs that are quickly fixed by the team. I have nothing bad to say about Talkroute. They're a great company and great people! I chose this service specifically because it was the only provider that would allow my customers to send MMS photos by text message. Unfortunately, after purchasing the program and troubleshooting with tech support, it was discovered that only certain carriers are able to text 1-800 numbers.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros I like text now at first because I could finally call my country and receive text messages to my phone while away. I started using this phone number to get people to reach me while in a foreign country I use it in my email signature I use it on my business card I used it on my website but then... Was great before the company introduced all the pay walls. Now a barely serviceable extra line. Does not drop the majority of calls. Cons After a couple of weeks of using text now one morning the app was no longer connected to my account and I could no longer retrieve my phone number. So out of despair because I needed to make a phone call in my country I decided to just create a new account thinking that I would have to change all the phone numbers everywhere where I had a written the old text now phone number... And again I lost access to that number a second time and it is this time text now banned me. And I would have had to fight for my number and I talk to myself to the heck with that! I'm done with TextNow I'll never use it again. App selectively does not ring or alert you to texts (even after applying company prescribed fixes). Have to pay to get access codes, or they are willfully blocked. The price is ridiculous. Ads everywhere for you to accidentally click on. App pirates your phone after some texts, and makes you watch a full commercial, in the middle of your conversation. Solution is to close the app, and reboot it. Loading time is slow. Can you imagine if you were in trouble?! I actually paid to have my number reserved for a few months, and found out that it is a separate charge to get access codes, despite it not being advertised that way.
