About

An open source unified communications framework designed for developers and integrators to rapidly develop ICT based applications using their existing development skills. ICTCore having a primary focus on integrated and automated communications. ICTCore goal is to be a common server-side software/back-end for CTI (computer telephony integration) related projects. Further, as a framework, it can be extended to develop new communication solution and services using the user’s existing development skills and infrastructure.

About

Linq is a developer-focused messaging infrastructure platform that lets businesses and AI applications communicate with users through iMessage, RCS, SMS, and voice. Its APIs support features such as emoji reactions, voice notes, rich media, typing indicators, group chats, and other conversational interactions that feel more like native messaging than traditional business texting. Developers can integrate Linq into their applications to power AI assistants, customer workflows, reservations, alerts, support experiences, and other messaging-based services. The platform is designed for high-volume, low-latency delivery and offers enterprise features such as encrypted data handling and SOC 2 Type II compliance. Linq also provides tools for building conversational AI agents that operate directly inside messaging apps without requiring users to download a separate application.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • ICTCore is exactly what you want if you need flexibility, transparency, and power under the hood. It’s an open-source communications framework that supports multiple channels—voice, SMS, email, fax—and allows developers to build custom logic on top of it, so it adapts very cleanly to specialized needs. Being built on the FreeSWITCH + LAMP stack means system requirements are well understood, and integrations to existing infrastructure tend to be smoother. The ability to use it to power tools like ICTFax, ICTDialer, ICTContact, and others shows it’s robust and scalable. Also, having a team behind it (with clear roles for CEO, CTO, developers, etc.) shows there’s support and ongoing development, not just a thrown-together open source library.

Cons

  • Because it’s a framework first, not a finished product out of the box, there’s some setup and development effort required to build the specific applications you need. If you're not technical or don’t have dev resources, there’s a learning curve.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • I like it because it makes networking so easy, providing my contact information in a simple and eye-catching way. I really like how detailed our onboarding was. So far I've loved all the features it offers to customize it. I love that this device was so easy to set up.
  • Easy to use. Get the "ohh ahh" factor when a prospect/client uses the technology. Your information get's saved into the prospect/client phonebook. The days of your business card getting thrown out are long gone.
  • How easy it is to update my page and contact information. The variety of products that you can use to share your information.
  • The card brings efficiency and ease to my networking. Quick networking is the best kind of networking. This card allows me to share the information I want my connections to have within seconds and allows me to focus on making as many connections as possible.
  • This is one of the most sleek professional business card platforms out there. It is easy to use and there is an entire team to help back you. The features dont end at the sharing of the card, there are a multitude of utilities for the prospect to utilize as well as the distributor. I use Linq constantly to share our business. Its like having thousands of business cards on me at once.

Cons

  • I would like to have the option to move the image within the crop space, I wish there were more customization options. Sometimes the card takes a long time to be read.
  • It cost money, but besides that, it's pretty cool.
  • I am struggling to make the integrations work. It could be me but I can Microsoft exchange to work and connect.
  • After having this card for over 3 years, the NFC chip still works great but can be a bit slow to recognize on phones. The QR code included on my card fixes that problem and leaves me with very little time. I also have some slight peeling on the laminate that is on the card around the corners, but nothing to ruin my experience.
  • I have nothing negative to say about the Linq digital business card or service.
