It seamlessly integrates with other google applications. - Hangouts allows chatting, file sharing, calls and video calls all at one place. - It can be accessed directly from mobile, desktop or tablets. - Meetings gets synchronized easily with Google calendar, and it also allows seamless integration with other Google applications. - User interface of the application is simple and minimal. - It runs smoothly on laptops, mobile and tablets. - It syncs with all the Google application like Google Calendar automatically. - The user interface of the application is minimal and easy to use. - It can also be used directly from the Gmail application. - The application is quite easy to set up as it only requires a Google Account. - It runs smoothly on all the platforms where it is available. - It gets synced automatically with other Google applications like Google Calendar. - It supports both instant messaging and video conferencing. - It is fast, reliable and productive to use. - The best thing about using hangouts as the default chatting application is the ease with which it can be integrated with other Google applications. - It is highly secure to use, and the UI feels pleasing to the eyes. - It can be used on any Android or iOS device. Cons 1. It does not support setting any backdrop during calls in the background. 2. The notifications can be improved. - The call quality is not reliable, as it gets distorted with low speed internet. - The away status can not be changed manually and gets implemented automatically. - It only has limited features for chatting. - It does not support many third-party integrations. - Voice notes feature is not available yet. - There is not a lot of room for customization. - It does not work as seamlessly on the web as it does on Android devices. - Sometimes it does not push the notification for the incoming message.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Having a place to securely store notes, files, code, and cryptocurrency without worrying about remembering passwords is super useful. The chat function also provides a similar level of security to e.g. Signal or WhatsApp, but with a much better user experience when switching devices, etc. You can easily start an online conversation with the team. Its messages and files are end to end encrypted. Simple and highly flexible mobile application. You can transfer files right from the message box. Keybase has also mobile platform support. The chat room is encrypted and secured. Instant messaging with file attachment supports. Voice mail is also supported. Cons The app hasn't been updated much ever since Zoom bought out Keybase. Features still work, but nothing's gotten better in the past year or so. There isn't even a native M1 build. Keybase is a perfect messaging tool. You will enjoy it. No dislike. It worked great for me. Nothing to share about cons.
