Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros FieldPie has completely transformed how we manage our field operations. The real-time visibility it provides is unparalleled, allowing us to track team activities and store audits as they happen. The automated reporting feature saves our managers hours of manual work every week, turning raw field data into actionable insights instantly. FieldPie makes daily work easier and more organized. It helps teams know what they need to do and when to do it. Having everything in one place saves time and reduces confusion between field and office teams. The recurring issue tracking is one of the most helpful features. Being able to flag repeat problems and monitor them over time gives real insight into patterns, not just one-off incidents. The reporting makes it much easier to prioritize corrective actions based on data. FieldPie has made our projects much more organized and transparent. Communication between our field teams and the office has improved dramatically. Our team loves the mobile app. All our client data is centralized, and it’s so easy to share it with teams in real-time. It’s made internal coordination much smoother. Cons The platform is incredibly deep and feature-rich, which is great, but it can take some time for new users to discover all the advanced customization options. We would love to see more interactive, step-by-step guided tours within the dashboard to help our team master the complex configurations even faster. In the beginning, it takes a little time to get used to all the options. Some features are not immediately obvious, but they become clearer with regular use. Some advanced features take a little time to fully explore and use effectively, especially at the beginning. A few more in-app tips or short guidance for first-time users would make the onboarding experience even smoother. Reporting could use more customization options. It covers the basics well, but we’d like deeper insights. We’d like more customization in the dashboard view	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros This software provides an all in one management experience. Through it, we are able to schedule work, track progress, get real time updates and information, including messaging and photos. Forms can be created to streamline the process causing us less filing and paper issues for things like safety and maintenance reports. This software has saved us a lot of money and administrative time. With servicem8 you can manage simple or highly complex operations involving invoicing or store data management processes. In terms of field services servicem8 has tools to connect to databases within different clouds, either to manage electronic signatures or online invoicing requiring mobile or routing tools. The fact that the platform is very stable/future proof - due to the fact that it has been designed with iOS in mind! The simplicity of design also shines through, when it demonstrates that a sole trader to the MD of a multi branch business can pick up the APP with basic training and deliver massive efficiency savings - within busy organisations. Cons I can honestly say I do not have any complainants about this software so far. Within servicem8 we can annotate and prioritize all our work orders depending on which client we want to give more importance at the moment, and that is enough to not give servicem8 a negative review. We liked that the platform integrates so many tools for scheduling processes. The (sometimes) limiting functionality! With this in mind, the clear and transparent reason for ServiceM8’s existence is to remove inefficiency from modern service based businesses. If there is a better way of working, which improves the lot of its core market - they will listen and take all feedback into consideration when developing core product. There are also third party development companies that have and will develop Add-Ons and specific ‘tools’ if and when required.
