Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros - Its reliable functions, formulas & pivot tables that handles the complex data easily. - Its strong integration with Power BI has helped me analyse & present my data cleanly with great looking dashboards. - We used it for Sales analysis, Cost comparison, contemplating datasheets which more or less helps us in all our data related tasks. Microsoft Excel is the present's leading hero tool for all solutions to accounting, statistical analysis, and graphical representation, and now it is a more advanced feature to run API from the macros. So many possibilities! You can do so much with this program once you build the skillset. Luckily there are tons of resources online and you can learn it all on your own. Excel is maybe the best software from Microsoft. There are hundreds of very useful functions: mathematical operations, sorting, filtering and I could even classify indefinitely. Perhaps few people know it but a complete programming language (Visual Basic for Applications) is also hidden in it. You can organise all your expenditures and mange them very easily with this. And its have some great features like formula and translate which are helpful in many cases. Cons - When using complex formulas, it is a little tough for a rookie to learn and implement without a mentor. - While implementing Extensions like ChatGPT or simple or any other simple extension like a translator its quite tough to figure out how they actually works. The learning steep is high for formulas, macros, and coding. Date formatting is a mess at times. Sometimes you just want a number but it turns to a date, and vice-versa. It's hard to say any wrong about it. First my students afraid of it. No complains with this, serves it value supports multiple file type. It is heading the way to most extended features, such as real-time collaboration, leading multiple users to work collectively on a single project. Its cloud integration is marvelous, consisting of MS OneDrive and SharePoint ensuring the synchronize the documents and making them accessible anywhere. A comprehensive set of multiple editing and designing formatting tools is equipped with themes, styles, templates, and other options to create a more appealing document. Additionally, its accessibility feature is a great help to users with impaired vision. It's near the corner to have a perfect AI bot working for us as an assistant for proofreading, spelling correction, command search, and many others to let us improve our writing. Furthermore, integrating software such as Endnote, SPSS, Nitro PDF, Grammarly, Quillbot, and Wordtune is excellent and seamless in MS Word. It is very useful software for making any documents. You can make pdf, word file, research, resume, etc with the help of this. It has lot of features like spell checker, automatically save the documents, etc. There are many tools which help you in editing the documents and it is very simple and versatile. You can also encrypt your documents with password. One of the best writing letters and memo applications. It has many templates and is very easy to write letters and many more futures are available. Before this, we had many problems writing memos and letters. - Microsoft Word is the only word processing tool anyone needs, any type of word document can be made on Word with ease. - The features and the modern user interface makes the process smooth and intuitive. Nothing- I hate when they change anything in a program that I use daily. Technology is like when you get in your car to drive it and the steering wheel is in a new location every time and you have to figure out how to work it so you can drive to work and the next day it is in a new location --- I do not have time to learn new crap that is essentially harder and more impossible to learn. Cons Microsoft Word is a great word-processing platform; however, when it comes to other languages, as minimal support for some languages. It has complex interface which is difficult to use in the beginning but after starts using then it will easy for you. Its pricing is little high. Overall it is great software. Automatic grammar check and auto-complete sentences and also worldwide compatible with every version. - Using table function in word is quite difficult. So hard to use, everything is different, cannot move a picture on the page or line up the writing... And lots of other things that changed and was not able to use...made me so angry.
