Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros I found Basecamp as a robust software for the project management cycle. The user interface is incredibly intuitive and highly customizable. Its progress tracker for projects is accurate and real-time. Within this enterprise project management platform, I have seen several positive things that attract me about this platform, due to its great usefulness and the way it allows me to manage projects simultaneously. The things that I liked the most were: 1- One of the main positive features of this platform is that it has a fairly complete prediction system, which is capable of comparing all the results obtained in a specific time, within a project, this allows you to obtain a prediction about the results that you can obtain in this same project in the long term, this helps you a lot when making decisions within each project. 2- I also liked the way Basecamp has allowed me to have complete budget management for each of the projects. This platform provides me with a specific section where I can manage all the resources and all the general budget specific to each project. This is relatively useful for our company, since we are constantly updating the number of projects in our portfolio. Therefore, having a platform that helps us control expenses in each of the projects helps us to reduce costs and generate the same results. 3- I loved the way I can work together with the help of this platform, since it allows me to work on a project together with different employees. The platform allows me to add the number of employees I want for each of the projects. This makes it much easier to compute each project in less time and provides a usefulness of teamwork. 4- I also liked that with the help of this platform, you can see in real time, the tasks that are being executed by each of the employees, in addition, you can also see the history and the record of the tasks that are pending to be executed, in this way you can keep a complete control of the tasks that each of the employees execute within a specific project. Phenomenal and efficient for team collaboration. Astounding with task assignment and prioritization. Effective with task progress visualization. A real-time chat function called Campfire and message boards for asynchronous collaboration are both included in Basecamp. These features improve communication inside the platform by facilitating official and informal team interactions. The main reason why Basecamp is a good option for the administration and management of projects is because this platform has additional functions to manage the capital for each project and thus have a prediction of the results. This capital management feature is great because it allows you to add products, prices, remove repetitive products, gives you unnecessary product suggestions and thus you can save on the preparation of each project. Basecamp allows you to manage all the tasks and manage the status of each one, this will help you to have a continuous monitoring of the fulfillment of each activity related to each project, in addition, Basecamp allows you to manage several projects at the same time, in the main panel you will be able to see the projects that are being executed in each area of your company, is a very powerful tool that supports up to more than 5 projects simultaneously. Cons Had a balanced experience, no major downside to share. In general, I consider that Basecamp has had a very noticeable utility within my technology company, because we are constantly renewing our project portfolio, therefore, this platform is useful to add projects and be able to execute them in less time, in general, this new platform has not provided any type of negative characteristic, in this way we have been able to execute projects without any type of interruption, it favors teamwork and working constantly, since the platform does not have any type of failure within it, we consider that everything is fine within this platform. Fantastic with task progressive visualization. Ease of use. Basecamp is really good at being simple, but it might not have all of the sophisticated capabilities that come with more sophisticated project management software. Businesses with extremely complex project management requirements could find Basecamp's feature set to be too limited. It is a quite complex platform to use, in addition, users can also present complexity in the initial registration of each employee in the platform, since it must be done individually for each employee, in addition, users must also learn to add relevant information to each task and much more, in general, the platform is very complex to use for the first time. Another negative aspect is the high prices that Basecamp manages, although this aspect has not affected us too much, we do believe that we could obtain better prices in Basecamp's annual plans to have a better ROI.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros The feature that stands out for me is the assignment of tasks and subtasks, as this has allowed me to have a better record and tracking of the processes that must be completed in a project, resulting in having total control and minimizing time losses in case something fails. Jira's customization is unmatched, organizing work with this platform is incredible as it gives total control to customization and even more so when it has different templates that allow streamlining the planning of a project. It has AI integrated into certain tools on this platform, this has helped me generate much more efficient reports, it also integrates with different popular platforms in relation to communication and teamwork. Jira is a brilliant and exceptional tool that provides great features that makes project management easier. I have been using Jira for more than 8 years and it has been of great help to me and my organization. I like the fact that it is so easy to tailor the project management view on Jira to your organization's needs. There are certain capabilities of this software which i like a lot about this software like: 1. Powerful search & filtering capabilities 2. Extensive integrations with Atlassian & third party tools 3. Granular permissions for different team roles 4. Broad ecosystem of Add-ons & apps. Jira provides the full solution with robust and flexible features that allow you to fully manage & automate the workflow of simple, as well as complex projects. It also has rich reporting and analytics. I have been using JIRA for 10+ years. I love it but also hate it at the same time. However the love for it far surpasses the unhappiness! Atlassian has been making the product better the last 2 years and Cloud is by far the best they have ever done. The platform is powerful and the ease of use is improving in each release. At this point there is literally no need to use anything else. Cons Extensive and deep features that require some learning time to be able to use this tool properly. I would like them to simplify the learning process so that it is easier to adapt. In addition, its interface became more complex after applying certain updates, which radically changed how the interface was structured. Although this platform is complex to use, there are certain features that require a bit of tools, especially in the communication part. I feel that my work team has a hard time adapting to maintaining communication within this platform. It seems that Jira does not adapt to the new communication methods that currently exist. To be sincere, there is nothing i dislike about Jira as it meets all my expectations. The clunky interface always makes people a little confused about the features of capabilities of Jira Software, simplifying the same could benefit the users a lot. Due to the extensive features Jira has, the learning curve is quite steep and it is suggested that you invest in training. For junior or small teams JIRA is too much but for any team doing actual product development work this is the tool.
