- Apple Notes is a great service for taking notes of any kind of information. I use it for both personal and work purposes. The things I liked most about this platform were: 1- This platform has immediate synchronization with my iCloud account. This feature is one of the most important for me and my employees. It's amazing to be able to write new things in Apple Notes from my iPhone device and be able to see these notes in real time from my computer thanks to cloud synchronization. I love this feature too because I can transfer new notes and accurate information to my other linked devices. 2- Another thing I liked is that Apple Notes has a very complete editing function, where I can modify the text font, add enumerations to paragraphs, add information grids and much more, in addition, I can change the total design of the note sheet that I am using, these general editing functions are good for me since I can modify each one to my liking and this makes me feel much more comfortable taking notes in this application, the design benefits me a lot in general comfort. 3- Apple Notes has excellent cloud storage, this is extremely important to me since I can store very old notes within my iCloud cloud subscription, it is very important for me to always have consecutive storage, where I can store information for an unlimited time in the cloud. 4- Apple Notes allows me to organize all the notes using automatic labels, checklists and much more. In addition, it allows me to add new notes to specific dates on the calendar. This is very important because my notes are not only visible to me, but also to my employees by accessing the shared calendar system in the company, where they can see all the notes I have attached to specific dates.
- Apple Notes is a very complete service for writing new notes, I have loved this platform since it allows me to add enumerations to various paragraphs, add very complete grids and manage how big each text grid is, it also allows me to add various images from the Photo Library or from some kind of shared link. Apple Notes also allows you to write new notes using various text fonts (you can import new text fonts if you want). Another reason why I have loved this platform is because I have been able to have an excellent synchronization between the Notes and the iCloud service, this has allowed me to transfer texts and complete paragraphs without the need to use any removable drive, just by connecting the cloud with these notes, I will automatically be able to access these notes from any Apple device, although this synchronization takes approximately 5 seconds to complete.
- Apple Notes is a must-have app for running your iPhone device. The things that I liked furor: 1- within Apple notes you can add all kinds of grids of any number of boxes, you can add a box and modify the number of boxes you want within this box, essential to be able to make much more complex annotations, you can create a box of information within each note thanks to this function. 2- I really like that within the notes you can modify the text source of each of the notes you write, in addition, you can also modify the type of text, adding a type of header, titlec subtitle or body text. 3- Another pretty good feature of this enumeration platform, this function is very important if you want to enumerate several paragraphs that you are writing within an Apple note, it allows you to add enumerations but also allows you to add characters in the form of enumerations. 4- You can make all kinds of notes and drawings within the notes that you are writing, there is a function that works as a marker in which you can insert any type of drawing, you can modify its size, color, and shape. 5- I love the way in which Apple Notes works simultaneously, this helps a lot since every note that I have written on my mobile device can be accessible with the iCloud version on the computer, this is quite positive since I can transfer that information to my removable computer, only using Apple Notes with iCloud cloud connection.
- 1. The user interface is minimal and simplistic. 2. There are a lot of tools to make the notes more readable and attractive. 3. The notes gets synchronized directly through iCloud and can be accessed from any device. 4. It allows creating various folders to organize the notes.
- I really like how you can share the notes with others who have the app so it can be an area of collaboration if needed. I also am prone to accidentally deleting things I shouldn't, so I like how this app has a recently deleted folder. It saves on my daily mini "heart attacks"!
Cons
- Overall, I consider that I have not had any problems with the Apple Notes platform, this platform has worked smoothly at all times and this has allowed me to have fluidity when taking new notes, I can store new information in text form, add images to notes, add labels and much more. Apple Notes has behaved excellently without any failure in its general operation, this has allowed its general use for both business purposes and personal objectives. I hope that Apple Notes continues to provide me with this positive experience for much longer so that I can continue taking notes within it.
- One thing I really disliked about Apple Notes is that there is no ability to edit the interface or general design of each note, you can't add colored notes, and you can't add labels to notes to differentiate between them depending on the information stored in each note. one of them. I would love to be able to edit the layout of each note, to add basic colors or to add custom backgrounds from images. Apple Notes also does not allow you to share a note with someone within the same App, the only way to share a note is through some type of social network, Apple Notes allows you to send a note directly to each social network you have installed on your device, but you can't share notes directly with another person using an Apple device.

Pros
- Easy for new users to install, point to a folder tree, and go to work. But also very customizable as you learn. Hot key, installable themes and plugins are all available to make doing what you want to do easier. This is also one of the few markdown based editors we've found that lets you use YOUR chosen folder tree on an android device. Most want to lock you in to whatever folder tree they decided to create for you -- which makes using repositories (like git) impossible.
- Simple structure - all based on Markdown. Can be edited in any text editor, is very portable, yet has a lot of potential for extending functionality into any productivity/automation area you can think of. It becomes your second memory, really. The more notes you add, the more connections you create, create a network of interconnected knowledge that can be easily displayed as a graph. Impressive. Not only collecting knowledge, but connecting the ends and creating something new on that basis. It's open source, meaning there's a lot of community development and addition of plugins from all sides etc. It's generally free - with the option to buy some extra functionalities. I use the real-time secure sync plugin to synchronize content between smartphone and desktop vaults. Works like a breeze.
- Obsidian is undoubtedly a diamond in the rough, which is still possible to exploit a lot of potential, it is a unique platform that offers a great particularity, and that is knowledge management, it provides a huge space to create notes on various aspects of our work and being able to review them when we need it most, either online or offline, and that is undoubtedly a plus to be able to maintain the flow of our work. The color of the interface is quite friendly for work in front of a computer, after so much work being able to make notes and the learning and correction process on a comfortable platform like Obsidian has undoubtedly earned millions of points, it is one of the characteristics What we liked the most, it provides an easy and simple interface to use, with a few clicks everything is done. The quick access is very special too, being able to access my notes and files quickly from a quick access we liked it a lot, it makes all the review quick and easy. It offers a space where the organization is present, it helps us to categorize the notes to always know in which folder it is located and in this way the search for the notes is not a problem at all.
Cons
- NOT 100% markdown compatible. The developers (stupidly, in my opinion) decided to hijack the markdown/html "#tagid" construction for their own use. So standard markdown code such as [description](foo.bar#tagid) will open the file "foo.bar" but it will NOT go to the "#tagid" in the file. Obsidian interprets the hash tag as a request to search the HEADERS in the file for the name "tagid". So, having co-opted the hashtag, the developers had to come up with propriety replacement for the standard id="tagid" that is completely incompatible with any other "markdown" system. This means that, in the final analysis, Obsidian is no better than any other proprietary note keeping system, and in fact is as bad as Nimbus Notes when at comes to finding yourself locked in. Like with Nimbus Notes, the only way to get out of Obsidian once you're in is to either hand edit each note that contains special Obsidian code, or export it as HTML and then import it as a standard markdown.
- Though you can start using Markdown right after installation, the tool benefits a lot from first getting acquainted with the "Zettelkasten" methodology and pre-configuring your setup to your needs (for collecting notes). Great for individual use, limited use for shared team collaboration. I would wish for better granular automation integration on the Smartphone - e.g. automatically adding pre-filled notes for podcasts, videos or articles - but I believe this is more a shortcoming of Android, which doesnt yet (by default) allow a very granular degree of task automation.
- I think a much faster synchronization is needed, in real time, sometimes it can take time to display all the current notes. It would also be nice to be able to obtain more material to understand its use well, it took us a while to take the thread on our own when we were beginners, it was a process to achieve a correct flow of the notes. We are waiting for updates, its function is undoubtedly magnificent, however visually we believe that it has better things to exploit so that Obsidian has greater potential for use and graphic design.
