Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros When dealing with such a large web system it's incredibly helpful to have CloudWatch doing a lot of the hard work for you and providing the valuable data and actionable items needed. Easily manages logs period. Easy to install and set up. Time and money saving. Great dashboard customization options to add metrics. Easy implementation. Real time monitoring. Alarms based on custom triggers. Easy integration with AWS Services like SNS or Lambda. Schedule events. Cost-effective - only pay for what you use. Cons I have found that the support help for this management service is slow to process questions and doesn't have many experts on the team to provide answers to the questions that arise. It works only on Amazon affiliated service otherwise is a good tool to have and better than third party software. Needs to mature into a standalone app which can be integrated with other clouds platforms or tools.
