Aether-GUI is a free, open-source desktop application that simplifies access to the Aether censorship-circumvention tunnel. It provides a graphical interface for establishing encrypted connections on heavily restricted networks without using command-line tools. The application automatically handles route discovery, identity provisioning, and connection setup through the underlying Aether engine. Users can select MASQUE, WireGuard, and nested tunneling protocols to accommodate different network restrictions. Advanced settings include scanning modes, IP versions, traffic obfuscation, and proxy configuration. It also provides live connection progress, automatic reconnection, and background operation. Built with Tauri, React, and Rust, Aether-GUI is distributed for Windows with additional platforms supported through source builds.
