Hi! As it is mentioned in the Faq on xmms-embedded.sf.net, you need to append :mp3 for mp3 streams if the url doesn't end in .mp3 and :ogg for ogg streams. > Although I can play mp3 successfully on my ipaq ,I can't play files in some > websites or URLs when I using the on-line internet connection to them. > > So,is that what I need to do is just downloading and hanging some > external modulus to let my problem be overcomed?? > > Thanks for you reply very much!! > > Best Regard !! bye Denes |

Hi, I have xmms running on OZ 3.2. When I view divx movies, the video is very jerky. It show maybe 1 frame every few seconds. When I run mplayer at the command line I have to use these options mplayer -framedrop -cache 8192 movie.avi Is there a way that I can have xmms use these same options? thanks chad |

About opening the Z, no I haven't tried to. I did open the top of the case to slide in my G2 screen protector back in the day but that's as far as I've gone. I'm hoping that someday a cheap SL5000 will show up on Ebay and I can just swap screen units out. This is such a bummer! It's quite annoying that manufacturers expect you to pay so much for a screen unit. This has to be a common issue with PDAs. What we need is a plastic-based LCD instead of glass. I am using mplayer and madplay from the command line to play music. It is actually very easy to use these two since they don't really need to be installed and they have their libs built in, just drop the executables on a CF card and run them ./ . Although with mplayer I had to copy a config.conf file manually to where it's supposed to be. But this works 100% and is pretty easy to get going. I still use XMMS to set the volume though. Hard to get into the volume applet without touch screen ability. Dusty At 04:17 PM 4/6/2003 -0500, you wrote: >On Friday 04 April 2003 21:16, you wrote: > > I just busted my touchpad glass. Fun.
