Winmerge never deletes temp files when editing UTF-8 files
Windows visual diff and merge for files and directories

Whenever Winmerge compares two files, normally it creates two temporary files, then immediately deletes them.
But if the file is UTF-8 encoded and contains Unicode characters, the temporary files are never deleted.
I work with large text files (about 10MB), and ended up with multiple GB of temp files sitting in the temp folder.
Same problem over here.
I use large UTF-8 textfiles from different OCR software engines to compare/find erros.
And because I have to reopen the files often to fine tune the OCR processes my temp folder runs into 5+ GB of size after just after three days of work.
Won't anyone take care of this. Please
Besides: I LOVE WINMERGE.
