Well guys I am opening a beta issue thread as I need some users to test the new revisions. I am unable to test all the things I write because of the lack of time mostly. It would be great if some people could take that task off me.

So far, everything I've done with this build has worked nicely.  I like the bolder look of the fonts and how fast the browsing had become.

It's nice to see you are still working on it.

As before, I'm using IOS 58 for booting.
Did the channel launching method change?

Also, i was wondering if somone could make an elf compile of the last stable version of this. It would be helpfull to those who are screwing about with wiimode on their WiiU's.

    - When the Wii is offline, Wiixplorer crashes upon starting

    Best regards.

However, the app loader still has some kind of problem.  I can not launch the following applications, neither from the start / app menu nor by browsing to the dol and clicking on it and selecting Wii Homebrew (I assume they both use the same method):
    - RawkSD
    - Riivolution
    - Genplus G

    Regards.

See if this works. If nothing is broken i will upload this file to the download section:

I think Wiixplorer is fine the way it is.

    Thanks a lot.

I posted this here https://code.google.com/p/wiixplorer/issues/detail?id=503 but this thread might be more appropriate as I'm using [r236].

I have a HDD partitioned with a NTFS partition followed by a FAT32. WiiXplorer [r236] (run from SD via Homebrew Channel) only sees SD and NAND, no USB, although USB GX Loader can access and play games from the FAT32 partition just fine.

Selecting "Remount all devices" shows a screen that indicates 5 devices are detected (it seems to be looking for up to 35 as it shows x/35 where x increase) but it still only shows SD and NAND afterwards. When loading, it shows it's using IOS202.

Unfortunately it still doesn't show my USB stick in the other port, which I need to copy files to the HDD from. I could get by putting the files on the SD card for now though, as WiiXplorer does list that as well.

I note the "Use both USB ports" setting but I was unable to toggle that and it's stuck on Off.

I did try changing the cIOS as well. It's a bit confusing as when I clicked on the default 80, it just opened a keyboard window so I had to delete the 80 and enter 58 manually. After I rebooted though, clicking on the 58 cycled through various settings (202, etc but no 80). After rebooting with 202 I think, again it gave me the keyboard when clicking on it, so I was able to change it back to 80 that way. How would I enter a d2x cIOS?

It's weird though why there is such a confusion on the IOS settings. It should always give a keyboard and not cycle anymore. I guess there is still some bug in it.

I'll update to d2x v9 and give it a go.

"d2x-v10-beta52.zip" has better compatibility with nand emulation, but only supports one usb port (the one on the right). And the other (d2x-v10-beta53-alt.zip) supports both usb ports, but the compatibility with nand emulation isn't as good.

I'll test them tonight, but they should both work with WiiXplorer.

Not currently using Nand emulation anyway (to date it seems sneek/uneek won't work with a HDD with a NTFS partition first, so I can't use them) so I can just use d2x-v10-beta53-alt.zip for now to give access to both usb ports in WiiXplorer.

I haven't managed to update the version of USB Loader GX that the Wii boots into yet though, so v10 might work fine once I've done that. Certainly there seems to be some incompatibility between v9 and v10 and the earlier version of Loader GX though.
