Well guys I am opening a beta issue thread as I need some users to test the new revisions. I am unable to test all the things I write because of the lack of time mostly. It would be great if some people could take that task off me.

    1. I open a .log file in my NAND (through NAND explorer feature)
    2. The screen freezes, and it gave a code dump (finally! lol)
    3. The code screen say reloading in 30 seconds, but nothing happens after the time
    4. I tried to repeat the same steps to see if the WiiXplorer dumped again, but it worked fine this time, that's why I said before it's very random.

    Here the screenshot I took

I am sorry to say that but the screenshot isnt of any use to me. Since devkitPro [r22] the line infos on GDB for a code/stack dump lead to random code places but none that make any sense. I don't know what the guys at devkitPro changed but they broke the debugging possibility with the dumps. The last usefull stack/code dump informations i saw were on [r21] of devkitPro. So the only way of finding that bug is to recompile the whole thing with [r21] and try to get another code dump :(. If you really want to find that bug, I can compile you a version with [r21].

Sure, the problem is that not always it throw a code dump, most of the cases it just freezes.

To sumarize, there are 2 type of freezes, the one when the screen freezes, and the one that freezes AND throw a code dump.

However the last beta seems to be more stable when using text editor.

Well building with [r21] of devkitPro requires way too much change of the application. It would take too long.
Instead I tried building the application without any compiler optimizations. Try to catch an exception with that.

That is not possible. Those two things are not connected in any way in the code. You must have missed something. I will check it later on my Wii but from the code it shouldnt be possible.

Ok I understand now what the problem is. I kind of missread what you wrote. I though you meant the nand write access but you meant the actual nand mount. When you disable the nand mount option you dismount nand automatically. For the detection of the version of the d2x at the moment the files required are read through the mount. I can change that to read it directly through ISFS though.

Still no idea about that wierd remount bug. :/

I don't know about the remount bug though. As I said, I dont get it at all. I can remount as many times as I want. Maybe we could debug it. Try this version of [r257] and give me a pic of the exception, if you get it. I'll see if i can find something.

[r257] compiled with -O0 (for debugging):

About the debugging. I'll get to it as soon as I can.
