Hi Glenn,
The options would most likely want are :

Default hostname for From: addresses: From real hostname
Allow editing of From: address: No
From: address mapping file: /etc/mail/virtusertable
Address mapping file format: Address to username

Virtualmin maintains the /etc/mail/virtusertable , which contains
mappings between email addresses and Unix logins.

You'd have to start from scratch, as I didn't do any more than basic
investigation of Xen..

Well...

I can't speak for anyone else, but I could start by looking at the 
Solaris Zones module and extending it to Xen and/or VMWare if that 
could be done, but I don't really have a ESX or GSX license.  I could 
download the demo, but this probably won't be done for more than 30 
days after I install it...  is the basic configuration the same for 
both servers?  Are you thinking of workstation support as well, is 
that configuration similar to the servers?  I'm flexible.

Would you consider checking out enough about VMware, Parallels, etc. to 
decide if concepts can be well generalized?  Or is ithis going to be the 
"OSS, OSS, uber alles" approach?  :)

No .. but to be sure you could remove the /etc/webmin and /var/webmin
directories.

am rebuilding my entire ports system as I informed you earlier.
Hopefully, that will correct the situation. If not, I can set up a
temporary account for you to use to find and hopefully correct this
problem.

I have in the past deleted the /etc/webmin account. I will make sure to
delete the /var/webmin account before I do another build. Since I am
going to be out of town until this weekend, it will not be until then.

In any case, since I am not the only one with this problem, I do not

                 Ok Maybe I am repeating someone else or maybe this already exists, but I would like to see a webmin module that will monitor and even let you change settings for your antivirus program. Right now I am running AVG and I like it but I am doing it in command mode and just thought that a webmin mod. Would be great.

You should try installing and compiling Perl from the source code (from
www.perl.org) and running Webmin under that Perl install. Some people
who've had this problem in the past reported that re-installing Perl
like this solved it.

I have deleted and reinstalled Perl, although that was from the ports
collection. Would sending you the output from 'truss' aid you any?

I am going to rebuild my system tonight. It will take a few days since I
have KDE and a few other monsters on board. I am rebuilding in place. I
cannot afford to shut down the server since it handles my mail also.

If this does not work, perhaps we can look into some other means of
getting to the bottom of this.

By the way, does Webmin hide any files that are not deleted by the
uninstall process? Perhaps one of them is corrupted? Just a guess.

I was actually referring to the ACL option that forces the 'other
modules' option to be enabled for a particular Webmin login. It can be
set in the Webmin Users module, by clicking on your login and then on
Users and Groups. The field is called 'Delete user in other modules?'.

[webmin-l] Custom Commands - File Editor

Hi,

Whlie setting up a new file editor using the custom commands button, I 
noticed something that may be a bug....

If you use the parameters at the bottom to specify part of the file name, 
then set the Module mode to display links to the commands, when the link is 
clicoked it skips the input box and goes straight to the editor. Of course, 
the editor is then missing the part of the filename that would otherwise be 
inputed if the module was in the "All commands and parameters" mode.

IS this a bug, or is it set the way intentionaly?
