Whoops!  I wonder how long that's been broken...

Fixed.

The scripts there are designed to be run as root;  any temporary files 
they create are created as root and so ignore quotas.  If you're 
*really* short on disk, this is likely to cause problems.

My HP-UX server is crazy because he is showing the files now! I do not
know what changed but I swear he was not showing these ignite files
yesterday. Perhaps some sort of file lock?

Try going to the Apache module in Webmin, clicking on the Default Server,
clicking on the icon for /var/www/html, and clicking on the Directory
Indexing icon. In the 'Directory index files' field, make sure index.htm
and index.html are listed.

There wasn't any change between versions 1.260 and 1.270 in the way Webmin
detects that MySQL is running. However, you can try to debug the problem
by going to the Command Shell module, and running the following :

mysqladmin -u root -pyourpassword status

I would be interested to know what that outputs.

Hi

I run  Webmin on  REDHAT LINUX 9 and Apache 2.0.40. Lately, I get the 
error " [Client 127.0.0.1] Directory index forbidden by rule /var/www/html"


I find this error when I inspect the Systems log since the Index File 
does not load.

Please give clues if any .

Yes, work is being done .. there is a group of maintainers who are working
on updating the Debian package to use the latest (or near to it) Webmin release.

Hi Paul,

I think that the vnet0:1 interface must be confusing Virtualmin..
What type of interface is this? Is it used by some kind of virtual 
environment like XEN?

Try re-starting Webmin .. your IP may have been blocked due to too many login failures.

I am managing over 500 domains over 3 machines using the webmin bind modu=

have a problem now where users cannot delete records.

For example when trying to delete a record from a certain domain, the use=

I have logged into this user account and setup some test domains. I recei=

the same error when trying to delete a record. This applies for any recor=

In the ACL for this user, he is allowed to edit all records and also has =

permission to delete the domain.

When looking at the webmin http log, I can see it gets to the part where =

confirmation is asked to delete the record.

I'm not sure what's going on here, but I cannot log into to one of my boxes using 
Webmin. I keep getting an error message stating "Error - Access denied for 
myipaddres". Nothing has changed on my end, as far as I know, and I have been able to 
log into this box plenty times in the past. I have tried adding the allow=muipaddress 
and still no luck. Anyone have any ideas?

The next release of Usermin will include a feature for setting up automatic
scheduled deletion of mail in a folder that is over some limit, such as more
than 10 days old. However, that may not help in this case, as the automatic
deletion would fail too for the same reason!

The only real solution is to use a mail format that allows deletions without
having to write out a temp file, such as Maildir.

I did the touch after the ignite file was created. The touched file
(2007-06-11,15:22) shows up but the ignite file (2006-05-12,14:02) does
not. Therefore I assume the cache was rebuilt?

This is actually a bug in Webmin 1.270.. if you have confirmation before =
deleting records enabled and try to delete several at once, this error wi=
ll happen.

I will fix it in the next release though.

Those messages seem to be related to LDAP over SSL .. I think you can ignore
them, unless you are actually using LDAP with Apache.
