Using the cluster copy files module I create the copy with the following information: Files to copy: =09/export/home/johncha/dev/peerv2 Destination directory: =09/opt/utils/peer =09Copy full paths under directory * Copy to this directory Command to run before copying: "mkdir /opt/utils/peer"=09* On remote servers Command to run after copying: =09* On remote servers Copy to servers: johncha10-test1 =09 Copy on schedule?: =09* No =09=09Yes, at times selected below .. Email output to =09* Nobody When copying all directories are created but the file copy places all the files directly under the destination directory of "/opt/utils/peer"(no matter what original directory they were under). Any idea on what is going wrong or how to fix it? Here is the output of the command: Copying /export/home/johncha/dev/peerv2 to selected servers (under directory /opt/TiaaUtils/peer) .. Hi M, THe reseller cannot create his own templates as of yet but you can create some generic ones (resell1, resell2, etc) or assign them to the reseller specifically. The reseller currently doesn't use the API either but it's on the feature request. You'll find this reseller much more secure than the WHM that cpanel has. As I understand it a cpanel reseller can shut down the entire cpanel network. Dan From: "Munzir Taha (=D9=85=D9=86=D8=B0=D8=B1 =D8=B7=D9=87)" <= mun...@gm...> To: web...@li... Thanks Jamie and danl for the clarification. Yes, I was using the GPL version but now I tried the demo of the reseller account of the Pro version and I haven't found a way to add packages/plans. The idea of having some plans is to be able to reuse it for a group of customers instead of reconfiguring it again and again. I guess Danl got my point and he already mentioned this feature is not available. Hi Munzir, At the moment, Virtualmin doesn't differentiate between 'templates' and 'plans', which means that it is not possible for resellers to create their own plans. However, that would certainly be possible to implement, and is a very good idea.. I will look into this for a future release. - Jamie |

Hi Munzir, Are you using the GPL or Pro version of Virtualmin there? The Pro version has a 'reseller' accounts, which operate at a level above domain owners, and can set quotas and bandwidth limits for their resold domains, plus configure all settings in those domains. - Jamie |

Hi, Are you sure you're in VM GPL? I checked my 3.31 version and found nothing for a reseller. In the VMPro version you have a specific reseller module for creating a reseller specifying limits for the reseller himself, then the reseller logos in and creates virtual servers, assigns IPs and limits to the degree that you've permitted. It sounds more like you're trying to create virtual servers to resell to someone else and true, they would have no permissions to adjust their own settings. It sounds more like you want the features of VMPro. The reseller still can't create his own templates (I just created some generic reseller templates and hid the admin ones from the reseller) then the reseller can set the limits he wants from within the server creation module on the fly. Thanks Jamie for your reply. Then may be I asked the wrong question. I don't care whether it's "Server Templates" or something else. What I want is a very basic feature that is available in WHM. On it you can manage packages, set bandwidth and disk space quotas for your clients, edit DNS zone files and much more. I set virtualmin in my server instead of cpanel and my very first customer's first question was how can he set the limits for his clients. Unfortunately, he is not satisfied at all when I told him I can set them for him. He is now telling me that the link I forwarded him http://www.virtualmin.com/vs/virtualmin-vs-cpanel was not fair. Hi, I installed the Virtualmin (GPL) module in webmin and Servers -> Virtualmin Virtual Servers (GPL) -> Add new virtual server, owned by: <New user>. There is an option of "Server configuration template" that I can assign to the reseller but how can I allow the reseller to define and edit his own templates and limits for the packages he wants to sell? Your help is appreciated. -- Munzir Taha Telecommunications and Electronics Engineer Maintainer of Fedora Arabic Translation Project https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-trans-ar Maintainer of the OpenBugs project page at http://www.arabic-fedora.org/munzir/OpenBugs.html Master CIW Designer, ICDL, MOUS, Linux+, LPI 101 Riyadh, SA |

Thank you and all others for your answers.
I am still having no success.
anyway
1) I am using OpensSSH, sshd NOT ssh2d (Yes, I was confused about ssh2 and
ssh or ssh2 "protocol 1 or 2 flavour ": now it is clear, thanks David:
>Is your server running OpenSSH (sshd) or SSH2 (sshd2)? The location &

)
2) my /etc/ssh/sshd_config is wholly commented, apart from last lines:
# override default of no subsystems
Subsystem sftp /usr/lib/ssh/sftp-server
# This enables accepting locale enviroment variables LC_* LANG, see
sshd_config(5).
AcceptEnv LANG LC_CTYPE LC_NUMERIC LC_TIME LC_COLLATE LC_MONETARY
LC_MESSAGES
AcceptEnv LC_PAPER LC_NAME LC_ADDRESS LC_TELEPHONE LC_MEASUREMENT
AcceptEnv LC_IDENTIFICATION LC_ALL
IgnoreRhosts yes
IgnoreUserKnownHosts no
PrintMotd yes
StrictModes no
RSAAuthentication yes
PubkeyAuthentication yes
PermitRootLogin yes
PermitEmptyPasswords no
GatewayPorts no
AllowTcpForwarding yes
KeepAlive yes
Protocol 2
NOTE: I had to manually add
PubkeyAuthentication yes
it was not present;
now I have only .ssh directory: root example:
drwxr--r-- 2 root root 112 Dec 18 14:37 .ssh
inside it:
-rwxr--r-- 1 root root 294 Dec 18 14:37 lamiachiave.pub
I removed authorization file;
I also tryed to modify the line:
IgnoreUserKnownHosts no
in
IgnoreUserKnownHosts yes
no changes, still getting
"Server refused our key"
I am sorry, but more help is required, sigh!
I created my keys pair using puttygen: perhaps they are not compatible; is
it possible to use something different ?
In other words: If I create a new user, webmin prepares the keys, but if I
already have one (the usual root...) what can I do ?
Should I manually use ssh-keygen ?
Thanks in advence,
Andrea

Hi
.ssh is the correct directory for ssh and ssh2. Check your sshd_config file
where you can over ride the default setting for stored keys.
# Authentication:
LoginGraceTime 600
PermitRootLogin no
StrictModes yes
DenyUsers serious
RSAAuthentication yes
PubkeyAuthentication yes
#AuthorizedKeysFile %h/.ssh/authorized_keys
