[WebERP-developers] Bug in language setting and company preferences

Hello, currently I'm developing an ERP system for some small company in Indonesia. I see that WebERP already have Indonesia langauage buat when I change the language to Indonesian, the language is still in english. I tried another language and it still the same. Is there any plugin or something to change the language because I tried the demo, the language can be changed. Also, I tried to change the company preference like name, address, and currency, but when I click the submit button, it doesn't submit and just stay on the same page. Why is this happening? Is there some bugs? Thank you for your reply.

very well skilled with both Joomla and webERP and I'm hoping to get a site
working with the latest version of both apps.

Hi all:

I was thinking to "give the freedom" to place the part_pics folder
anywhere, but not the other subfolders in the company folder. The part_pics
folder should contain only JPG images. I'm not an expert in server
security. So, all scripts will be located where they are now, and the
default setting for$_SESSION['part_pics_dir'] can be the same one as it is
now, so no security issues. If the admin wishes to place it somewhere
else... he has the chance to do it.

Regading Exson's POV, I really have no idea. I just found those links as a
side effect setting up an ecommerce site, tried it, and it seems to work
ok. Fact is pages load faster, and being a LAMP installation I think it can
be also applicable to webERP.

So, I left the final decision to the guru's final votes. For it? / Against?

Hi:

in config table we store just the relative path from webERP base
"companies/mycompanyname/part_pics"

A quick search and:
SystemParameters.php: Needs to convert the data entry for part_pics_dir
into a text (as user can enter any URL)

In GoodsReceived.php line 164 should be deleted the $RootPath . '/' part
In PO_items.php line 1221, 1222 should be deleted the $RootPath . '/' part

Besides that I think we are done. Am I overlooking at details, or are we on
the right path? I'm a bit afraid of this kind of small changes with wide
consequences

Hi Exson,

What I have usually found in the code is:
+ no class for text (left-align in left-to-right languages; right-align in
right-to-left languages; * ).
+ class number for numbers (right-align in left-to-right languages;
left-align in right-to-left languages; * ).
+ class centre to centre contents (it works on default.css).

Note *: I do not know if it is possible to have up-to-down text flow in
html.

SelectProduct.php seems wrong. The number class is "select"  and those label
use class="number". It seems a wrong one. But the effect seems no big
difference. 

          Looking forward to a clarification. Since webERP Chinese community
are creating a new css for webERP and (CNCERP a new fork for Chinese users).

Thist week i finished review phase-1 (for all menu options of weberp 4.11.2
and for all fuzzy expressions).
Url [1] point to patch file for messages-pt-br.patch
Please could you review if this is better way of send updates/patch files.
I used tortoiseSVN for create this one.
For verification i send, also .po [2] and .mo [3] files.
See that all this files is using utf-8, and all this work i used poedit
windows version 1.6.1.
Please let me know if i need change some.

First, I change this to another thread because it does not have
relationship with "Inventory Categories Maintenance/Stock Category
Maintenance".

Second, as far I know, this time-out error is often generated on the
back-end connection that is serving content. There are other scripts that
uses the same resources as Currencies.php in a similar or more intensive
way (those scripts should have the same problem).

On this subject (Engine-X), I think it is better to consult someone skilled
in NginX. See: wiki.nginx.org;
http://www.nginxtips.com/504-gateway-time-out-using-nginx/.

Also, you can try other less complicated solutions that are successful in
some few cases:
1. Re-store Currencies.php (copy or update from
http://sourceforge.net/projects/web-erp/files/latest/download ).
2. Flush caches.

We control who can access there by role, so not all the users have access
to this script, but if you work with this nscript is not very logical to go
to setup module to return to inventory module.

I can understand the security concerns, but if we apply this theory we
should apply it all over weberp, so, as example: maintenance of GL
accounts, sections, etc should also be at setup module.

Hi all:

I think it belongs to the inventory menu, not setup.

We control who can access there by role, so not all the users have access
to this script, but if you work with this nscript is not very logical to go
to setup module to return to inventory module.

I can understand the security concerns, but if we apply this theory we
should apply it all over weberp, so, as example: maintenance of GL
accounts, sections, etc should also be at setup module.

             Thanks for your reply. I've found an solution is to check the
orderdetailes invoiced qty. The credit quantity should not be over that
quantity. A hack for your 'hit and miss' solution -:).

             I'll commit this fix later.

Yes that is true. Some way to flag when a transaction is credited and reinvoiced? Or perhaps check the order has amounts invoiced might be the solution.
