Hi David It looks like the new version of the app is not updating the plist file to the new URL... I manually updated the plist PLUGIN_BASE_URL (see attached screen capture) from ... https://www.aavso.org/sites/default/files/vstar-plugins/vstar-plugins-2.21.2 to ... https://www.aavso.org/sites/default/files/vstar-plugins/vstar-plugins-2.21.3 and now it all appears to be working again. Thanks Cameron. The Java version looks fine but feel free to move to a higher version if you want to. The move to different servers at AAVSO HQ would mean that anything less than 2.21.3 would not be supported with respect to the plugin manager. David

Hi David Thanks for getting back to me. I tried the "Set Defaults" in "Preferences" but the result was still the same - unable to access remote plugin information. I do have a couple of plug-ins already loaded, so it has worked previously, but is no longer working. In the last CHOICE data analysis course, I showed that at least a polynomial fit and Fourier model could be added in VeLa, so long as the zero points are the same. What's missing is to be able to create an arbitrary model then apply least squares regression to it to fit the data, by adding coefficients to terms. How to do this for an arbitrary function actually?
