I had tested it before I commit. I added these: *05.1* The vimrc file *vimrc-intro* ----------------- *05.2* vimrc =CA=BE=C0=FD=BD=E2=CA=CD *vimrc_example.vim* ----------------------------- *05.5* =D4=F6=BC=D3=B0=EF=D6=FA *add-local-help* *matchit-install* --------------------- Are these right?=20 I'm not very clearly on No.1 you point out.. 2. However, there are things that I want to point out. 1. It doesn't seem to me that your changes will fix the problem. Did you test it? From what I can see, the usr_05.txt is missing a couple of tags between *<tag_name>*. E.g *05.1* The vimrc file *vimrc-intro* ------------- 2. There is no need to set the status line to us 'euc-cn' encoding. This will automatically be done when preparing release as 'euc-cn' doesn't work for win32. > But .. It's toooo slow. I have patched it. Added some tags to usr_05.txt and adjust some line out of 78 char. btw: I have some trouble in using Wincvs. I use it the first time. It tooks me two days to find how to work on it...putty+wincvs. First, I checkout the project with pserver protocol. after I modified the file,i found I can't commit it. I should checkout again with ssh. Then I use ssh instead of pserver, and use putty.exe as the client. I can't access sourceforge.net directly. So I use proxy in putty. This time when I checkout, putty display the error: Invalid port number. So I thought putty.exe can't do this, and I change the ssh client to "plink.exe". This time, Wincvs show the error message: cvs checkout: warning: unrecognized response `xx...@cv...'s password: ' from cvs server Then I use pageant to add private key,and try again. But .. It's toooo slow. It hasn't finished checkout for 1 hour.. poor me... The usr_05.txt I commited from a remote linux machine.. -- xxxss <xx...@ms...> |

Actually there are more than that in the file usr_05.txt (not in usr_41.txt) The tag in each section in file usr_05.txt is missing. Could you take that bug and fix it xxxss? All, I've been quiete for quite a while now. Been very busy. But I should be more available in 2 weeks time. Bram is releasing a new version of vim, which support translated help files. We have a new member joined us. All this are good execuse for us to get some translation done and roll out another release. Hilight of tasks I can think of: 1. check in whatever file that is still outside of CVS 2. convert translated document into UTF. I've been thinking of this for long. And now 6.3 is requiring it. So it better be done. However, I am having some problem with certain file (say usr_24.txt). But it is managable. 3. Translate another few docs. I am thinking of taking if_py.txt and if_cscope.txt to kina have a completed if_XXX.txt collection. 4. Make the translation compatible with 6.3 (not too sure about this.) We will probably have to maintain two seperate release. If anyone can think of anything else. Feel free to add to the list. And if you have some free time at your hand, it is time to type some Chinese! ;-) Best regards, lang2 -- Simon Liang wzh...@sp... -- http://www.fastmail.fm - Send your email first class |
