Hello Kristóf, hello Xavier, the issue I had with the cavallo was, that it did go off the track in the sweepers before the start straight of Salzfelden. This was caused by the front axle, not by the rear (understeering not oversteeering). But we all know, that the simplix does control the acceleration better than a human driver does. Giving it more downforce at the front did help here, the max. speed scale was same for the narrow chicane, the long first right turn with slope and the sweepers. BUT with this balance the cavallo did spin on the first downhill edge of the track Inuksuk, so I reverted it back to 63/63. For the real world car I would expect to have more downforce at the rear (diffusor). On Forza the first long right cannot be taken with full throttle, even the trb1 cars in the current championships have to go off here using wings in the low downforce position to get the top speed needed. I had to change the robot for narrow turns for the cavallo (Aalborg) because it always went to the outer barrier (understeering). It is possible to make the robot drive the car, but the current setup makes it much slower. It should get more grip at the front (low speed balance) and the areo balance should be setup for high speed tracks like forza, e-track-4 (jumping well, braking into the curve). BTW. Kristóf: I saw you do set the position of the wings to the axles. It is OK but we should do it by default for area 0 wings, so you do not have to add it into all the setup files. Cheers Wolf-Dieter |
