I agree that the names of the cars are more important than the car appearance, when talking about legal issues. I agree that there's need for such guidelines, and that SD community will help a lot on this. There's already some material in our wiki (see "Artist garage") : http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/speed-dreams but sure we have to enhance this ; some ideas : * explain our current short/medium term road map about current and future car sets (would help contributors to choose which cars to work on), - no more work on TRB1, - future JGTC/DTM (WIP), - call for 3 or 4 more MP1 (F1) cars, in order to have a decent set (only 2 for the moment), - same for the RS (Rally) cars, and split the set in RS1 / RS2 ones, - call for 3 or 4 more LP1 (LMP1) cars, in order to have a decent set (only the great Spire for the moment), - call for 3 or 4 more Kart cars, in order to have a decent set (only 1 or 2 for the moment), - ... * complete the "how to" sections about creating cars, * ...
