Reasonably soon we hope to have a now "portfile" for use with macports and 
that should make it easier for people to install on Yosemite. To use that 
you will need to have "macports" installed so you can use the various 
command sthat start "sudo port install ..." and so on. So please check 
that you have that all ready and I hope we will be able to help you soon.
