It is very nice to have a reduce with graphical output running under windows (revision 4859). Unfortunately printing to a ps file does not work since years. I include the offending lines of the output produced by a one line Reduce programm: plot(sin(x));
The head line is ok
The second DrawText Command "1.: uce" is nonsense , should be "1:"
Ghostscript crashes at the next line, because the ")" after 4859 closes the text and ghostscript cannot interpret the following characters. The text "CSL version......." should anyhow not show up here.
When I manually edit the ps file and delete all the crab, ghostview works fine

    The bug is present in the Linux version 4859 too.
    When I edited the file per the bug report, reduce output was not shown. I also tried to update the fox toolkit used by reduce to the current stable, and it did not help.

    It took me some time to confirm this, as your bug report was a bit vague on how to reproduce.

    Anyway, the bug shows up even if you print immediately afer starting CSL Reduce in window mode: the second line shows extra characters from the first line, ie. instead of printing

    Reduce (Free CSL version, revision 4928), 07-Mar-19 ...

    1:

    it prints

    Reduce (Free CSL version, revision 4928), 07-Mar-19 ...

    1: uce (Free CSL version, revision 4928), 07-Mar-19 ...

    I believe that the bug you reported is corrected.

    However, printing of math formulas is still not working, unless you switch off the fancy output mode completely with

    off fancy;

    Once you do that you can print the output.

    I'm afraid that a complete solution is not easy and will therefore take some time.

    I'm setting this bug reports status to "suspended" for the moment.
