When "Search files" in the Find dialog is ticked, the "Search TMs" option is greyed out, but some of the other options that have to do with searching TMs remain black. This is confusing to users who don't see that the "Search TMs" option was greyed out (since it is visually very far away from the "Search files" option). Also, it may cause some users to believe that those options also relate to searching files (which is not the case).
I think that when "Search files" is selected, the "Search TMs" option should simply be unticked, and all other options that do not relate to searching files should greyed out (until the user unticks "Search files" again. The options to be greyed out, are:
* In source
* In translations
* Author
* Changed after
* Changed before
In fact, if the user unticks "Search TMs", these other options should also be greyed out, and the "Search files" should automatically become ticked (and when the user unticks "Search files", the "Search TMs" should become ticked again).
<<In fact, if the user unticks "Search TMs", these other options should also be greyed out>>
Actually (unless doing a Search files) all options are relevant whether or not Search TMs is checked, because search is still done in memory.
"Search TMs" means "Search in memory and in TMs".

The dialog has been largely clarified, with
Search in
Memory, TMs, Glossaries
which mutually exlusive with
Search in files
