But those of us who regularly use the mouse for navigation find it easier and quicker to just point and click as opposed to memorizing dozens of...

It will only be confusing to people who enabled the setting in the preferences (e.g. "Single click to select segment") without realizing what the setting meant or after forgetting that they had selected that setting. But that is not unusual in OmegaT. Most new users of OmegaT often don't realize that their...

This doesn’t need to select segment. Personally, I select text in one of two ways: by double-clicking the word, or by clicking in the vicinity of the word and then using the arrow keys plus Shift and/or Ctrl to select the word. This is the reason for point 3 in my RFE. I rarely select a word in the way that you describe (by click-and-drag)....
Four options for mode=console-align
I don't use the aligner often enough, but I suspect Aaron did not implement my original request. He said that protecting is a lot of work, but IMO protecting is rather important in an aligner.
It's possible that project creation was a lot more complicated in 2006, so this may no longer be necessary. WFP7 has a "quick project" feature whereby, if you drag and drop a file onto WFP7, it asks you if you want to create a quick project or a normal project. A quick project is a temporary one created in a fixed location with certain fixed parameters. It saves two or three steps when translating just a single file. Perhaps we can have such a feature in OmegaT: if no project is open, and you drag...
I look forward to your explanation about what exactly you find so difficult about it. I find it quite useful. Some of the individual dialogs are difficult to use or are a mystery (e.g. I don't know what the Plugins dialog is for at all), but all in all the Preferences tree is one of the best recent features added to OmegaT.

We can check both at once at video. I think you're confusing my RFE with someone else's. My RFE has nothing to do with MT and is not related to automatic searching. My RFE is for a message to appear when no results were found after a dictionary was searched. Samuel
