I have an LaTeX file with utf-8 encoding. When OmegaT is set to <auto> on source file encoding, wrong enconding is applied (I assume it's ANSI instead).</auto>

Encoding detection was implemented in OmegaT 3.4. Prior to that, <auto> is the platform's default encoding (depends on system language on Windows).

Either upgrade to a newer OmegaT or set the encoding to UTF-8 manually.
