[Logicmail-users] Problem with connecting to mail serwer over GPRS/EDGE not WiFi

Hello, I can't connect to my mail server over POP/SMTP/IMAP using 
internet connection like GPRS/EDGE. It works only when I configure a 
wifi connection. I checked everything I hope so

Go back to the IMAP account configuration, scroll to the bottom, and 
find the option labeled "Outgoing server:".  You need to change it from 
"None" to the actual outgoing server configuration you entered manually.

P.S. The "Test Configuration" screen in the wizard is optional.  It 
doesn't need to succeed for you to have it save the configuration.

I have skipped the wizard, since Logicmail didn't do anything when I
selected the "..." button on the Test - Screen anymore.

So I entered both, an IMAP and the SMTP Server manualle, without the wizard.

So both IS configured, but I do not have the "Compose E-Mail" button
available.

[Logicmail-users] How to send eMail?

Hi there,

maybe this is a stupid and simple question, but: How do I send eMails
with Logicmail?

I successed to set up everything finde, IMAP, SSL, ... everything is
working. But I do not find the Menu for actually compose and send a mail O.O

I'm running Logicmail on a BlackBerry Curve 3g 9300 with Logicmail
Version 2.0.0.290 for BlackBerry OS v6.0 or Higher .

I really like the Today theme on Blackberry. It shows newest calendar,
texts, and emails on the home screen. But I don't have BIS.

Is there a logicmail compatible theme or some way to have logicmail show
it's inbox on the main screen?

It may be technically possible with the theme designer, but might require
hacking Logicmail.

Upgrade to the latest release of 6.0 for your phone.  Its a bug in the 
OS.  The early builds/leaks of 6.0 for the 9700 had this problem, and 
I've actually seen it myself.

(the version number and event log were a dead giveaway, since I've 
actually been running 6.0 on my own 9700 since the leaks from late last 
year.)

I am sending you the EventLog with Exception Message. 
I am using BB Bold 9700 with OS 6.0.0.344
Finally, all contacts behave the same way.  
I had Gmail App, but I uninstalled it after found out about LogicMail. I 
thought that after uninstalling Gmail LogicMail would work with contacts but 
nothing changed. Also I have Opera Mini 6, IM+, CallBlockerLite, TXTLater, 
Google Sync, PhoneLogger installed on my BB.

Here is a minor bug, I have a contact with last name only in my contacts. If I select the email address, logic mail will show null last name instead of the complete name. (The email address is correct thou) more of a cosmetic bug.

The contact has email address and clicking it DOES NOTHING. Neither selects
it nor shows selection dialog when more than one email. Furthemore (it is
not a bug) when you select and click an internet link in the text of some
message you cannot open this link in browser like in Gmail App. Also it
would be great when you select and click an email address in the text of
some message LogicMail opens "new message" window with that address. And
last, I cannot paste an email address to the "To" field which I selected and
copied in the body of some message. Nevertheless LogicMail is the best
mailing app today.

Almost anything is possible.  Are you doing this over WiFi or the mobile
network?  (Sometimes public WiFi hotspots do weird things with port
blocking.  Not sure about the mobile network.)  If you are on a
GSM-based network (e.g. AT&T and T-Mobile, in the US), you need to make
sure the APN setting is correct on your phone (more details in the FAQ
on the website).

Also, every once in a while, I've seen devices that simply act up and
refuse to connect for unknown reasons.  Sometimes, a simple battery pull
may clear it up.

It is sometimes also interesting to enable logging on the device (some
details on the "Debugging" page on the Wiki) to see what is actually
happening.  Google for info on the BlackBerry Event Logger for more
details.  (Typically, the logger items named "LogicMail", and anything
starting with "net.rim.tcp" should be enabled to get the most useful
info.)

[Logicmail-users] Mobile Me set up

Hi - I am trying to set up mobile me email and believe I have all of the setting correct, but every time I try contest the connection it fails. I also tried to set up my gmail account and also couldn't connect. Could my ISP be blocking the connectivity?

[Logicmail-users] Can't get Logicmail to use Cellular data when away from wifi

What am I doing wrong? Logicmail works fine via wifi. but when I travel
outside

of my wifi area, it can't connect via ATT data. I've tried setting all
protocls- WAP2, etc,

but it still doesn't connect.

I run a Blackberry 8310 with OS 4.5.0.180 and use the Logicmail build 2.0.0.257 (Beta)

I can receive email without any problem. but I cannot send.

the connection details are as follows

Incoming

Server = pop3.live.com
Use Secure = SSL
Port = 995
Username = My email
Password = My password

Outgoing

Server = smtp.live.com
Use Secure = SSL
Port = 587
Authentication = LOGIN
Username = My email
Password = My password

Connection method = Auto


I am sure this is a simple issue which has been answered a hundred times before but any help folks?
