My research turned up cross references to at least two Feature Requests that may still be open and similar, but apparently SourceForge changed their numbering scheme for these tickets somewhere, and now I can't figure out what "1398764" and "1617404" refer to.

Okay, now, to avoid similar confusion in the future, could you explain how you figured that out? I assume there's some sort of "old style" URL format that you can plug those numbers into to have SF redirect you, but what is it?

where XXX is the old feature request ID.
Feel free to add the reference to one of the existing feature requests.

Okay, I posted a list of cross-references on this one (which seems closest to this request), and pointers to it on all the other threads mentioned there.
I just Googled for "toolbar" using my KeePass search.

Interesting that a Google search found them, but the SF search function didn't.
The SF search leaves something to be desired.
