If any xs:attribute is used in an XML Schema, validation halts. Not even well-formedness is checked any more. The first version to exhibit this problem is XML 3.0.3. XML 3.0.1 was ok. The attached files can be used for demonstration.

Duplicate of [bugs:#4020]. An exception occurs parsing the attribute declaration in e.xsd. This is fixed in (not released yet) XML 3.0.5.
