Hi,
I noticed that images that are pasted into Private/Public log are inserted as <img src=...> tag.
Receiver of that notifications often have not access to our iTop server and are therefore not able to see those images.
Is it possible to let ckeditor insert the images maybe as base64 coded image or something similar?
Thank,
best regards,
Nico

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
You might be able to do it if you know your way around PHP by creating your own extension but it requires advanced knowledge of iTop. The extension would:
- Add a new "email action" type extending the default one
- Embed images within the email instead of pointing to the URL
Take care,
Guillaume

Hello Nico,
Unfortunately this is not possible for now.
You might be able to do it if you know your way around PHP by creating your own extension but it requires advanced knowledge of iTop. The extension would:

- Embed images within the email instead of pointing to the URL

That actually sounds like an interesting feature!
