I have a problem which may be due to the new version. iCopy does not prompt for destination PDF path name. It uses the value previously saved in the settings file even though the prompt for PDF flag is set true.

    Got the same problem.

    I'm using Windows 7 64bit.
    For a long time icopy worked fine with no problem. Maybe due to an windows update I got the problem that icopy didn't ask for the destination for the PDF. It used the last/default path.

    When starting icopy as administrator all works fine as it should.

    Nearly the same problem. It occurs after installing HP Scan .

    HPScan deinstalled. No chance to get rid of the icopy fault: Scanner Driver fresh, icopy fresh. (1.6.5.12)
    Running icopy as Admin doesn't change anything.

    Scan to file doesn't work: Unhandeled exeption:

    +1 "Me too" post. Been using iCopy for years; this problem just started with the latest update. Not getting prompted for a filename. Seems to work ok if I run as administrator.

    I've revered to 1.6.4 and the problem went away. So it's a regression problem in 1.6.5.
    I think the bug was identified in this thread: https://sourceforge.net/p/icopy/discussion/716863/thread/8632d865e9/
    "After further testing today, I think there is an issue with the <path></path> being saved in the iCopy.setting file. For PDF scanning, the <path> is populated with the last used path INCLUDING file name. Closing iCopy, and re-opening, to do a different scan, the user is NOT prompted for a new file name, instead, it says something like "last-file.pdf already exists, do you want to overwrite". Further, if doing a photocopy, after having done a PDF, it gives the same prompt, even though a file name isn't relevant"</path>
