Question:
The reference to gnuplot.doc revision: 1.1116 no longer means anything because we removed all the CVS revision numbers when converting to git. Can you switch to using either an exact timestamp or a git commit id?
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
japanese-20200225.tar.bz2: update gnuplot-ja.doc, term-ja.diff and gnuplot-ja.1 for git snapshot at 2020-02-25.
Well, gnuplot-ja.1 is renamed gnuplot-ja.SJIS in current tree, but this name is not appropriate. The encodings of original gnuplot-ja.1 and gnuplot-ja.SJIS are EUC-JP (mainly used on Unix), not Shift_JIS (used on Windows).
I think the name "gnuplot-ja_JP.eucJP" is better than "gnuplot-ja.SJIS". Shift_JIS version of gnuplot-ja.1 is not need because Windows user don't use man command.
I found some typo in gnuplot.doc and in documents of emxvga.trm and texdraw.trm. See attached patch.
And I also found un-document feature set grid spiderplot in the section "4 set style spiderplot" of gnuplot.doc.
japanese-20200904.tar.bz2: update gnuplot-ja.doc and term-ja.diff for git snapshot at 2020-09-04. This also includes wgnuplot-ja.mnu and wgp-mnu-1.diff, which is the patch of src/win/wgnuplot.mnu for Bugs #2291. Wgnuplot-ja.mnu in git and in gnuplot-5.4.0.tar.gz may be too old.
japanese-542beta-20210527.tar.bz2: update gnuplot-ja.doc and term-ja.diff for gnuplot-5.4.2beta. And I found some type in gnuplot.doc of 5.4.2beta.

The revision such as 1.1116 is my local number added by my RCS. Well, since I don't git commit id, I will send it without revision id.
