a few questions: - assuming you are using x11 as terminal, was the plot displayed properly? - did you close then plot window by hand? - or did the plot window appear only for a short moment? - is the x-server running on the same computer gnuplot is running? - if not, how did you connect to the other computer (telnet, ssh, ...)?
