Hi Everyone, I finally started seeing this today. I have uploaded version 2.14.3 to fetchyahoo.twizzler.org and sourceforge which contains a fix that works for me . To be honest I don't know why this fix works so do let me know if it doesn't work for you (try running it at least twice). Thanks, Ravi. Hi, I've noticed that fetchyahoo seems to have stopped working for me for about the last week. (last successful mail is 05/03/12). Specifically, it has stopped working for messages with HTML content and attachments, as I tried a test message and that works fine. What I am seeing now, is the messages show up, with subject, sending, date.. but no content. Anyone having issues with FetchYahoo Version 2.14.2? Regards Glen Ogilvie |

I'm running 2.14.2, but I've been seeing this for a long time, possibly since I started using fetchyahoo. I have a cron script which runs fetchyahoo every 15 minutes. This works great, but all my mail that comes in ends up with the date/time that the script was run. For example, someone emails me today at 11:31 am. When I get the email in gmail (so after fetchyahoo has downloaded, processed, and sent) it appears as 11:45 am, because that's when the script ran. I want it to say 11:31 am. I know this isn't a huge deal, but it kind of bothers me. I would think the date/time should be fixed. I am using procmail to send the mail. Is there something I can do to fix this? jon |

Hi Everyone, I've uploaded version 2.14.2 which includes a fix from Don Armstrong (who is also the Debian maintainer). http://fetchyahoo.twizzler.org I am very grateful for his fix which works very well for me. I did however notice 2 disturbing things. In a recent web browser there is no longer any option to revert to the old Yahoo interface. And when I use a more recent web browser user-agent in fetchyahoo, this fix (of temporarily opting out of the new interface) no longer works. This suggests that Yahoo is gradually deprecating its old interface and if Yahoo does decide to desupport older browsers, fetchyahoo may need to be re-written a bit. So no need to worry for now, but just wanted to keep you informed. Thanks, Ravi. I too am getting error #3, but only on one of my three yahoo accounts. I use the same instance of fetchyahoo to download from all three accounts, but I didn't know there was a 2.14.1 version available so I've been using version 2.13.7. Hi Everyone, This does seem to be a general error that everyone is seeing with no known fix or workaround currently. I tried a simple fix of updating the user-agent but that just results in a different error. I am still looking into this but will let everyone know as soon as I come up with something. If anyone else has anything that might help, please pass it on ! Same Error 3 here on FetchYahoo 2.14.1: Parsing the main summary web page has failed. I just realized that my fetchyahoo had stopped working since Thursday 1/12 night presumably due to this Error 3. Hi! Fetchyahoo no longer works for me. Yahoo is sending image of text. Hope someone can help! Below the output of fetchyahoo: Yahoo! has sent us an image of text. Fetchyahoo cannot proceed. fetchyahoo No username specified. Please enter your Yahoo! username: xxxxxxxxxxxxx Please enter your Yahoo! password: No mailbox or mailspool specified. Please enter the path to and name of your mail spool or mailbox (eg /var/spool/mail/username): /home/yahoo Logging in securely via SSL as xxxxxxxxxxxxx on Sun Sep 18 15:08:48 2011 Yahoo! has sent us an image of text. Fetchyahoo cannot proceed. Please wait a half day or so and then try FetchYahoo again. Also ensure that you are not running Fetchyahoo more than once every 10 minutes. You can also try specifying a cookie-file to prevent this from recurring. If you find a way around this please e-mail rav...@ya... with your method/solution, thanks. at /usr/bin/fetchyahoo line 1721, <STDIN> line 3. |

Anyone else getting failures and an 80k or so output file when attempting to check mail? I tried switching back to 'classic' to see if it would help, didn't. I've sent the output to Ravi, hopefully he'll get a fix out. -- Chris KeyID 0xE372A7DA98E6705C |

Hi Guys, Thanks for your help on this one and sorry for being so late with a response. I was occupied personally for a few weeks when this happened and by the time I started to track down the issue it stopped occurring for a while. In any case I have released version 2.14.0 to try to address this problem. Please download it from http://fetchyahoo.twizzler.org/ This seems to work for me whether I have the classic or the new version of Yahoo Mail selected, let me know if you have any problems. There should be some debugging output if there are problems. Thanks and apologies for any inconvenience, Ravi.
