Yep. I'm seeing that, too. I'm using 2.13.4. I get messages like this:

Failed to get body of 1_91095_131117_ANUIw0MAAGq6SrIlYQ32BFdH9Rg, will 
be skipped

Finished downloading 0 messages.
1 message(s) have been marked read.

So it fails to download, but it does mark it as read on the server.

Last two versions on fetchyahoo (e.g. 2.13.5 and 2.13.6) fails to get
mail starting with September 9. I think Yahoo changed again something
in their pages...  Anyone else having problems or just me?

Hi,

I think deleting the lock file is OK if there are no other cpan perl 
processes open  (ps aux|grep perl) .

You might need to contact CPAN devs / mailing list / support if you are 
having trouble with CPAN.

Hi all,

I do know that deleting messages still doesn't work, Jeffrey has sent me 
some info which I am going to look into to try to fix this.

If you are getting a complete "parsing summary page" failure, you can 
try switching between the classic and new yahoo mail web style as your 
default and trying fetchyahoo with each one.

There is also a thunderbird plugin which may work to download messages
from Yahoo webmail.

Yes, I'm still getting it. It seems to be a new redirection Yahoo puts 
people through because of its choice of the classic or new interface. 
Unfortunately, logging in manually or changing to the classic interface 
doesn't fix it.

It looks like I wrote too soon. Now all three accounts are getting a 
"Retry #1 (error 1)." error - different from the error 3 before. It does 
the same thing when I switch back to the unpatched 2.13.3 version.

[fetchyahoo-general] 2.13.3 not deleting messages

I've been having problems since last Wednesday with FY not downloading
messages, finally read a post on the list that mentioned switching to
the new interface from the classic 'may' fix the problem. That it did,
mail now is downloaded however it's not being deleted from my inbox. At
least half the battle seems won, anyone know the fix for deleting
messages?

I managed to fix this, at least for me.

I added a bunch of debug info, so line numbers are probably not exact. 
First, I noticed that the doc type was transitional, so I changed line 
1025 from

    $mainPage =~ /^<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-\/\/W3C\/\/DTD HTML 
4.01\/\/EN"/ ||

to

    $mainPage =~ /^<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-\/\/W3C\/\/DTD HTML 4.01 
Transitional\/\/EN"/ ||

   I wish I knew a procedure. My accounts have been working now for a few 
weeks, except for message deletion, using the new interface, but I had to 
mess around with them so much I don't know how I got them to work. Some 
combination of switching between interfaces, deleting mail.yahoo.com 
cookies from a browser before logging in, making sure to log out from the 
browser before letting fetchyahoo log in. Good luck, and please let us 
know if you are able to learn the trick.

Me too. Last time it was because I had it set to the classic mail 
interface. But it's been on the new version, and it still throws the 
error 3.

I was having a problem fetching mail with version 2.13.3 but upgraded my
yahoo account to the new interface and things work again.  This may also
resolve your problem.  Give it a shot.

and would then retry three times before giving up and printing out the 
page it was unable to parse. Loading the HTML in a browser shows a Yahoo 
page asking for "password prompting" - apparently after a period of 
activity, set to two weeks for my account, the password must be reentered 
despite being already logged in. Strangely, I don't get this page even 
using lynx from the same host. I tried deleting all Yahoo cookies in my 
browser and logging into the account but it didn't make any difference. 
Finally I tried switching back to the new interface from the classic one, 
which I have done a few times, but then FetchYahoo was able to log in and 
download messages. I really appreciate the suggestion about downloading 
only new messages - that will make my system usable again.
