1.4.2 device configuration stopped working with the newest security update from Microsoft(KB5077181) with the error "This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem." I've already tried reinstalling it and even downgrading it to an older version to no avail.
This seems to happen sometimes. It may be that the developer doesn't know why this happens. Maybe during the installation something is going wrong all the time. The folders of Equalizer APO should look like the screenshots. You could verify if this is the case on your computer.
They look the same on my computer.
It was working fine before the update, it's confusing lol.
I don't get it either. It seems to happen in rare occasions but in what occasions I don't know. It seems that dll's of Qt which are just for creating interfaces so the interface of Device Selector and Configuration Editor. Sometimes these dll's flagged as malware and therefore blocked. Perhaps Windows Defender is a bit overactive. At a next update it could be suddenly solved.
