I click and it doesn't open, and the exe file may close immediately. The problem-solving program didn't seem to help, or I did something wrong. I'm struggling with Windows 11 and can't use the program.
Are you talking about the installer 'EqualizerAPO-x64-1.4.2.exe'? If so, you could try to run it as administrator (right click menu -> Run as administrator). Also, it could be that some anti-malware app is preventing the starting of the installer.

Which folder? It's difficult helping you when you aren't specific. Did you manage to install Equalizer APO successfully? And which exe file are you trying to run?

Yes, I successfully installed and tried to launch the device selector and configurator editor, but they won't launch. I don't know what to do. The Equalizer APO folder

This could be several things. Most likely is an audio device of which both apps can't retrieve the specs from the Windows registry. Unfortunately, the developer hasn't provided us with a solution or any info on this. Also, my solver app (which you probably tried, reading your initial post) doesn't yet have a solution for this issue. However, you can tried things yourself. For instance, it could be a Bluetooth audio device so you might remove this device from on the Windows Bluetooth & Devices page, just to see of this removal makes the Configuration Editor or Device Selector start up.
To be more specific about the audio device specs retrieval issue: Sometimes an audio device in Windows doesn't have all mandatory registry key values. Equalizer APO's apps might crash on such a device. For instance, on non-active redundant devices, call it leftover devices. There can even exist empty devices, ones without registry key values. And this you can check in the Windows registry under HKEYLOCALMACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\MMDevices\Audio
This key has a "Capture" and "Render" sub keys containing all input and output devices. Each of them should have key values like shown in the attached screenshot.

It doesn't help on behalf of the administrator
and there is no configurator.exe in the folder
