VST name is PKharmonic.
This VST works fine for programs such as foobar2000 except APO.
And some users are also using it well in APO.
But some other users see this weird clipping graph.
Press Bypass within the VST, and even if the effect is not applied, it appears as if a huge amount of clipping is occurring.

When I asked this to the VST developer, he told me that there seems to be a problem with APO. I would appreciate it if you could fix this.

Be aware that the developer of Equalizer APO isn't very active. There are many open tickets which aren't addressed.

Is there actual clipping going on? Is it noticeable or is it a graph drawing fault?

      hi. i think graph only.

I compared it through loopback in rew and audacity and it doesn't seem to change.
Even if only the graph looks that way, the red clipping graph of approximately 50db makes me quite confused.

Looking at the graph the Configuration Editor produces the high dB is determined by the lowest possible frequency. Unfortunately, I don't understand what the PKharmonic plugin does so I can't determine if the graph is correct. Looking at your Audacity screenshot it seems like a frequency sweep. This explains the graph a little bit as it goes from high to low dB over the total frequency band. But the Bypass button should produce a flat image unless this button doesn't work in Equalizer APO.

I wise I could be more of assistance but I lack the knowledge.

The purpose of vst is to create higher-order harmonics.
think you're right, APO doesn't understand what this Vst is doing at the moment, so it seems to show a weird graph.
You should install it and try it. It's pretty fun. People who missed the tube also got a lot of hope from this vst.

I've tried it and got a weird looking graph as expected. Nice VST plugin but not for me. I do like the fact that the creator is very knowledgeable. And it's all for free.

          Nice try.
Yes. His harmonics vst are useful for those who want them. Also, your "peace" brings peace to many people. lol
I made a ticket for this but I don't know if the developer will confirm this as you say....

Well, who knows 😃 Maybe he or someone else will pick up. Would be nice as there are some questions going around about the usage of VST plugins.

            Yep
