#273 Windows Audio Service Disabled When Opening APO
Hello, I recently reinstalled windows entirely and when I got the newest version of equalizer apo it doesn't not seem to work for me at all. When I run it, it breaks my audio so I can not hear anything and my will not work. When I try to open Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound > Recording it crashes instantly and I even get a popup sometimes saying that "windows audio service is disabled would you like to enable it." It also shows that I have no output audios at all. If you can tell me how to fix this I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
The developer recently has released version 1.3. I guess you have tried or were using 1.2.1. So did this earlier version work properly?
For 1.3 the Configurator has been changed. No longer a restart is needed as the Configurator is restarting the Windows audio service. I'm guessing that the issue lies there but I don't know if we can solve other than using 1.2.1 or earlier.
