I have a very simple problem that seems invincible to any fixes. I use a RODE PodMic which I operate through an M-AUDIO air 192|6 audio interface connected to my Windows 10 computer. The microphone's input audio only plays in the left stereo channel due to the design of my interface, and I want to change it to mono. I had an existing Equalizer APO config in version 1.3 that accomplished exactly that, but today, Equalizer APO stopped affecting anything concerning my microphone.

Here's a list of fixes I have already attempted:
- Testing other microphones in the same circumstance
- Reinstalling drivers for the audio interface
- Recreating the files
- Updating Equalizer APO to 1.3.2
- Reinstalling Equalizer APO
- Plenty of computer restarts throughout

All troubleshooting methods provided by the wiki was inapplicable, for reasons unknown to me. Provided below are images of the associated config files as-is. If I've done something wrong here or if there are any other solutions I haven't tried, please let me know. Thank you very much.

One thing that you need to do is to remove the device selection command and then add it again. After a Windows update it might be that the mic device driver has also been updated. So the device selection command is pointing to the wrong (former) GUID (device id), in other words your copy command is performed on the former mic device (before the update).

Then there's also the exclusive mode setting of a mic. By default this is checked in Windows. But when an app is using the mic in this mode it bypasses any APO (audio processing object) such as Equalizer APO. However, I don't this is the issue as it did work before.

I ensured that exclusive mode has been turned off and I re-added the device selection nodule. The problem persists. Is there anything else you would suggest?

You might try all possible "Install as" options like EFX/SFX. Do you know how to access the troubleshooting options in the Configurator for an audio device?

I installed as LFX/GFX and I believe it's working now! Thank you for the help.

That's just great. Happy to have helped. And when after a Windows update Equalizer APO stops working on that specific audio device you're now able to try the other 2 options, especially SFX/EFX.
