#268 Voicemeeter Integration not working in latest version
Latest version of voicemeeter, they changed something about the drivers and there is a new dll. Can we get an update for EQAPO that uses this new dll? The DEC 2023 voicemeeter update has just gone live to the discord members, and will be out publicly soon i believe. (Free to everyone if you join the official discord and get the download link from there)
I'm sorry to say that the developer of Equalizer APO isn't very active on his project.
Is this December 2023 version a beta? Looking at the Voicemeeter website I only see a version of November 2022.

So we have to see if Equalizer APO will still work with Voicemeeter after the official release.
according to the developer of voicemeeter, he said the api dll has changed and would need to be updated for the new one. (i think this affects any program using the dll)
Unfortunately it would.
i assume it is unlikely to get an update forthis in eqapo as the developer isnt active anymore?
Well, he did create 1.3, an update which eliminated the distortion issue when using a virtual device of VoiceMeeter. So it could be that he's able to do another update. Also depends how much the VoiceMeeter API has changed. When minor then I aspect that update.
Thanks, i guess we will have to wait and see. I am not sure what changed as the api seems to be working fine for me to control VM using a program that i wrote, however i am not doing any audio processing using it, so i am not sure how that side works

I also don't know how audio processing is done with VoiceMeeter. It should in the programming code of Equalizer APO somewhere :)
Yeah, i'll give the source code a read and see if i can figure it out. My C/C++ isnt good tho haha!
It seems we have that in common :) In fact, I'm not fond of C/C++. If so I would have changed the source code.
So it seems to work fine on my laptop that runs windows 11, but for some reason my desktop pc that is on windows 10 it does not work anymore (it did before). Im not sure why. It seems to connect to voicemeeter, but nothing happens when i change anything in the config.

That could just be that a Windows update has "broken" Equalizer APO on the target device. Have you tried all troubleshooting options, especially those of the "Install as" dropdown box?
I uninstalled eqapo and reinstalled, and started on a clean config.txt and it seems to work now. Yeah maybe windows update broke something.
That's nice. Indeed, it could have been related to a Windows update.
