#265 windows11 graphic EQ sound issue
now i must say this works brialliantly with win10 but with win11 nope. everything seems to work like the filters but when i try and use the graphic EQ the sounds just goes click buzz buzz. i have fiddled every where i can fiddle uninstall reintalled etc. if i switch enhanments off in windows the apo totally stops working.....
As the developer hasn't commented on this Graphic EQ issue (or rather convolution issue) we don't know what is causing this buzzing. It seems like convolution works or it doesn't. My suspicion is that the convolution file isn't created correctly or the audio engine of Equalizer APO can't properly access/read it. Anyway, that doesn't help. What helps is to use mainly the filters. As developer of the Peace equalizer I'm aware of this Graphic EQ issue so by default Peace uses the biquad filters for EQ-ing. Using filters in the Configuration Editor is a pain in the ... Peace has simple to use EQ sliders (amongst many other features).
it plain doesn't work when try switching on the eq.
What doesn't work?
when you activate the eq with any settings it just makes a buzzing sound
until you switch it off

As said the graphic EQ of Equalizer APO may have this issue. Either it works or it doesn't. Just use the filters for EQ-ing. For convenience use the Peace equalizer as the filters in the Configuration Editor are cumbersome to use.
