No

Configurator won't load bluetooth device into configuration window unless the device is disconnected. If device is connected, it doesn't show up in the configurator window, so I can't check the box.

So installing Equalizer APO when disconnected doesn't do anything after the device is connected again?

No. I've even turned off my av and firewall during installation and still
the same issue. Blue tooth device is listed in configurator window when
device is disconnected, and device disappears from the configurator window
      when device is connected.

I forgot to mention that this is Windows 11 on a new laptop.

It's a weird issue. As the developer isn't doing support on this project I and a few others are doing the support. And I haven't come across a similar issue. Usually it's the other way around: When disconnected the device isn't showing in the Configurator. Have you tried to delete the Bluetooth connection to set it up again?

Yes, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the bluetooth device. It almost seems, since this is a new Dell laptop, that some setting in Windows 11 is refusing to allow Equalizer APO to take control of the bluetooth device after it's connected, but then after disconnecting it, Windows allows Equalizer APO to take control of the bluetooth device, but I'm just guessing. I don't know what Windows setup configuration would cause Windows to do that. It works OK with my old Dell laptop with Windows 10.

Okay., that could be it but there is another known issue on Windows 11. On former Windows versions a Bluetooth connection causes 2 audio devices. That's perfectly fine as Equalizer APO can detect these. But Microsoft "summarizes" these into 1 device which Equalizer APO can't detect (as many apps can't). The solution is to disable the phone device (called "hands free" or something). This prevents the summarizing and causes the device to pop up in the Configurator.

No luck on the hands free idea. When I uncheck the box, it checks itself back in when I connect. If I find the answer for this, I will post it here.

That's unfortunate. I haven't yet tried my Bluetooth headphones on my Windows 11 laptop so perhaps I run into the same or similar issue. I hope you'll find a fix.
